Wishing you all the very best over he festive season.

Been a tough one this year loosing Dimrill, December forever linked in with him being his birth month (like a few other Beexers) so I’ll be dunking Stollen in my port tomorrow as I face Brum

Love you all x

Merry Christmas one and all... The kids are just going to bed which will give me a precious few minutes to myself to enjoy the calm and quiet.

I hope everyone has a brilliant time tomorrow, whatever they're doing.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Some ups and downs this year, but I think I’m emerging from the year in a better place than I started. I want to say a special thank you to Daz, who checked in with me when I hit a bit of a dark place earlier in the year.

OMG. One minute to Christmas. I hope everyone is safe and in a loving place with people that cherish them.

Merry Christmas you fantastic lot.

Oh, and merry Christmas from Super Noodle, who is asleep.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's been a mixed year but I'm enjoying a nice Christmas with loved ones. Also, interestingly, a dry one as I've given up booze for a while - indeed ever since my ridiculous excess at Beex Cottage. Feeling quite good for it too... though I do miss dem Spanish wines. Ooh yus.

Hope you all are having a lovely time with your loved ones. Also... oooh... look wot I got...

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!

Success!

Also very much enjoyed Mog's Christmas, not seen it before, also also Chicken Run which somehow I'd gone through life without seeing. Am now trying to grab a few pages of Lonesome Dove wot I got before the neffers and niece arrive.

Beex Bless us everyone! xxx

Merry Christmas all.

My least favourite time of the year, Christmas to New Year, but despite that, Christmas day went very smoothly and the family get together was more fun than usual.

Partly ditto - the few days before Christmas and the day itself are not great, and I seem to like them a bit less each year. But the day itself was good once we'd settled into it. And I ended it nicely drunk, which was the right level to watch an episode of Ted, and then enjoy an hour and a half of absolutely incredible cricket from Australia. A 19 year old playing his first* match treating a bowler expected to be one of the greatest ever like he was a school player.

* edit: international. He wasn't pulled out of the crowd.

On Christmas Eve when I was about to get changed I sat on the edge of the bed and squished my glasses (I still maintain to Mrs Z that I didn’t put them there!) but luckily and angrily I managed to bend the arms back into shape… phew.

I wore the glasses all day yesterday, driving to my brothers to visit family, pick up my mum, then later on drove to my sisters to see them all and drop my mum off. Sat though Christmas dinner and into the early evening with Mrs Z’s sister, her other half and our nephew then watched TV until too knackered and went to bed about 11.

This morning we made the bed and heard an odd noise… MrsZ then passed me the left lens.

I spent the whole of Christmas Day with one lens in my glasses.

Christmas was super ideal. Food was great from the MIL, my baking went down very well. We had two days of pure relaxation there and now I'm much heavier than I was a month ago. Standard.

A good Christmas for Squirt, with some interesting drama on Boxing Day when the meet-up of the Boxing Day Hunt and the Charity Pram Race managed to take at the same time in the market square. An interesting mix of the rugby club dressed as babies drinking pints alongside men named Hugo wearing barbour jackets.

Belated Merry Christmas! (Still counts, right?)

Apologies for lateness, took some time off internetty stuff over Christmas as I was very very close to burning out end of last year and needed to just go hide and eat and pretend I didn't exist.

Hope everyone had a lovely one :luv:

Sorry, you're actually early for Christmas 2025 now. But I want a good one of those too, so that's okay.
