It was something to do with Genesis being right, and a day not being a literal 24 hour day, but everything happening in the right order.

And because for some planets the 'day' is longer than its year.

Charles Lindbergh apparently hated Hitler, but they did believe that whilst Jews were intelligent, the people's of Southern Europe were not

But he did fix the washing machine so I guess all's well that ends well?

Just thank goodness it did end.

We use Life360 on our phones to track family members. They're always adding new features to the app and this is the latest.

I think it's aimed toward the US market.

Yeah, I was saying to my mother the other day that I’m often shocked by the difference between the trending content of British teachers to those in the US.

I see a lot of content aimed at teachers, probably because I use a lot of educational materials sites, and on Instagram I often see British teachers talking about how to attach things to notice boards without damaging paintwork and how to laminate bulky things. The U.S. teachers’ content is ‘how to use a child’s chair to jam a door handle in an active shooter situation’, and ‘how to get kindergarteners to practice shooter drills in a fast and non-scary way’.

Ugh.

Incredible account. I feel like I’m the last person to know about it and kind of sad I’ve just missed the beard era.

But mostly I want to ask what is on your t-shirt. It looks a bit like Zack/Zac/Zach from Saved By The Bell.

It lives on in a different office. Anyone that asks about it is told a different lie. I've put out a fire in the lobby while I was walking by, and I've been the CEO of a rival company that got pounded into the ground.

I left a hosepipe coiled up, on top of a shelf in the shed (it's more like a garage than a shed, really)

I have also been leaving the roller door open, because of laziness.

A bird has built a nest in the coiled hosepipe and must be tending to some eggs.

It's both kind sweet and charming and a little bit annoying too, as now I have to wait until the eggs are hatched and the nest is empty before I can tidy that bit up (or, use that bit of hose).

Once a bird built a nest in the engine of my grandad’s VW Beetle and so we basically didn’t leave the house for six weeks.

Weird question, but has anyone just got a load of ‘we’re processing your return’ emails for things they haven’t returned. I just got two: one from Ocado and one for George@Asda saying that they’ve hit my returns, but I haven’t returned either? Both received within 60 seconds of each other.

If you are not expecting them, they are probably scams.

If I ever get anything like that, I try and remember to go to the site directly (never via a link in an email) and check out the status there. If it's showing there as a problem, then you can deal with it, if it's not, then it's almost certainly a scam

No, they’re definitely from the official sites, all the email headers check out, and they have full details of my order numbers, etc. I think it’s probably a system glitch or process that has run against orders that it shouldn’t have. I wondered if it was a widespread mistake that had happened to both places at once using some kind of shared service, or just a coincidence that they landed at the same time. Looks more like the latter.

A lot of e-commerce sites all use one of a small number of providers to manage returns, so that's entirely possible.
