What series are you on? It takes a dive, comes back, then takes a dive again.

For me it's Bar Rescue (a bar version of Kitchen Nightmares), Kitchen Nightmares (a restaurant version of Bar Rescue), Jerry Springer, and (TV's highest paid woman, and not by a little) Judge Judy.

I love Shed and Buried for this. it's like Ted and Ralph but with shit old motorbikes.

I've watched a few of those.

I'm also doing Police Interceptors this season, as its in Northampton and it's fun to go "I know that street!" as an oik on an illegal ebike in the foreground is being run over by a police car

How are they still making Jerry Springer? I thought that ended in the 90s. I'm surprised there is anyone in the US left to do a DNA or lie detector on.

I think we are on Season 4, we just watched the episode where Britta tries to throw a Sophie B Hawkins dance, and Abed goes on 2 dates at the same time and ends up with a Marvel ous cloakroom attendant instead

We still enjoy the 'Border Security' programmes too. Does the package contain drugs? Is this family smuggling seeds in their suitcases? Is Charlie really visiting for tourist purposes with only 200 buck in his pocket and a telephone number for 'Big Mike's unskilled labour jobs' and will they cancel his visa? Find out after a long drawn out series of jumps and adverts.

RBT (Random Breath Testing) is similarly junk but somehow engaging.




I always enjoy when a country fair have lumberjack competitions, they are fun to watch. Chainsaws and axes are both awesome and terrifying and dangerous and cool, so making them part of a time-based competition is a great idea.

The one where they chop at their feet whilst standing on a log makes me wince. Also the one where they chop wedges out of the trunk, insert the standing boards, and climb the tree in stages to chop the top off.

I remember when 'The Middle' came out and I never gave it any sort of chance as it seemed to be just a weak rip off of 'Malcolm in the Middle', but I was wrong - it's actually really good.

We're about 8 or so eps into the first season and it's good family viewing. While it's not as laugh-out-loud funny as Malcolm, it is more relatable and it's more pleasant in tone. Perhaps it resonates more given where I currently am in life compared to when it first came out, especially as it's told more from the mother's perspective than the kids. Every now and then an adult joke will be snuck in, but it's subtle.

I'm really looking forward to having this as part of our regular family viewing.

Just watched Young Sheldon Season 7 on Chanel 4 (should it be this thread).

It ties up the show quite well, and is a little sad. As it covers the passing of his dad. Not a spoiler as it is covered in BBT.

I do like the show, bot as good as BBT, but i do enjoy BBT and binged watched the whole show earlier this year...
