I feel so much better.

It's taken nearly a week for me to dislodge this.

Ewwww......

Left lug 'ole.

For some reason (maybe because I sleep on my right side) it's always my left ear that gets bunged up every couple of years. I have to soften it up with drops for a couple of days and then use a an ear syringe to flush it out. It's immensely satisfying when it finally comes out. The syringe is one of the best things I've ever bought.

I have found the most incredible racket I have EVER seen, on Etsy.

https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1718926184/

This person has over 4,000 reviews for selling and shipping a single bead that has been imbibed with the ‘energy’ of an AI cover image of a dragon.

I have absolute respect for the person making a mint off of this.

Amazing.

Omg. If you have time, look through the other listings. Absolute genius.

Like a snake oil salesman, but the snake oil is being transported to you only in the mind, no physical product.

I've always wondered whether the people selling that kinda thing actually believe all of the stuff they're writing, or if they are literally just in it for the grift.

I reckon it’s a bit of both: likes the aesthetics and the style/kookiness, but knows they are selling BS.

I almost wish it was just some middle aged, down to earth office worker knowing that the money exists for them to make something of this.

Today, I took my paint mixing plate into the bathroom in my office to wash the paint off it. It wasn't really working, so I give up and turned to leave. I got to the door, and saw a massive dog being walked outside. "That's massive dog being walked outside" I thought and went to the desk to get my keys.

Only my foot was caught in the drawstring of a bag of pool noodles, that was, in turn, weighed down by six bags of clothes for the ol' chazeroo.

I smashed on to the floor, landing on the ceramic plate which shattered, narrowly avoided two glass cabinet doors that are to go to the tip, and two old iron dumbbells.

Knee has a huge bruise and I have a pain in my armpit.

I have learnt not to notice massive dogs, and I am immortal on my own timeline.

You’ve reached the age of ‘having falls’, Mali.

Because I’m damaged goods I get flu and Covid boosters each winter. The flu one was fine, just felt the scratch of the needle last week but yesterdays Covid one, while not even feeling the jab at all, has left me feeling a bit shit and like someone has punched my shoulder.

Glad to hear it, Mali. Better get limber for The Worm.

@Zardoz I didn't seem too bothered by either my 'flu or covid jabs this year. A slight ache, but nothing like previous years.

This ship has been moored in the North Sea for weeks because no ports would take it in. I has something like 10 times as much ammonium nitrate as was in the Beirut warehouse that exploded in 2020.

Here's the back story, in case you missed it. "Damaged bulker off UK coast a ticking timebomb"

The reason why that poorly worded headline says in 4 decades, is I think because of 1975. I think that year had a really low birth rate for some reason. ( I know my school year was much smaller in size than most others)

If you look at graphs of births, there's big a valley trough in the middle of the 70s, of course it never rises again as high as the boomers, and I think there's another crash around the year 2000 and again at the moment apparently.

I'm 70 and nearly three quarters and haven't really started doing either of those things yet, although it's been close on a couple of occasions.

'Cult' members jailed over coroner kidnap plot.

They're here!!!!!

"The group called itself the Federal Postal Court, also known as the Court of the People." After a little bit of digging I found what is probably the source for this, which is one of the Sovereign Citizen advocates in the USA. These people must have a slate loose, because whenever they have a brush with the law they usually end up under arrest and in clink.

I am enjoying this phone based AR game. The town is flooded with tiny goblins and zombies and when you hit them they explode in a shower of sweets

Disinformation at its best. Hundreds gather at hoax Dublin Halloween parade.

They'd have all gone home happy if they'd been told it was a parade of invisible Halloween characters.

During an icebreaker at work today we were asked to draw something that represents what we bring to the team.

I drew a roll of gaffer tape, a bottle of WD40, and a potato waffle because like me they're all versatile.

No idea what zone A was, or zone D. Or what happened to zones B and C.

Had I taken the local number plates from the van over the road and put then on mine I would have stayed, but went gone swanpool instead and parked on the yellows.

That's really poorly designed. Took me a while to spot the dates when charging apply, and if they did I wouldn't be 100% sure I'd got the right ticket.
