Verdi's Requiem next

I'm not holding much faith tbh. I'm quite fussy

The disco prom was absolutely joyous.

These days, I find Verdi's Requiem a little too excessive, with everything turned up way past 11. I missed yesterday's performance of Faure's Requiem so will have to give that a listen at some point.

Now the main programme is over I'm back to Holst. It's just too good

Here's one for you if you like classical music... It's the national youth brass band that I recently filmed.

That is a very explicit exhibition of why I like some classical music but not all of it

The same for me which doesn't help when I have to sit through these pieces several times each.
