No more of a risk this year than any year prior... which is to say I won't be participating again for everyone's safety :DD

Thanks guys :luv:

Hello lovely peoples. It's about the time I start thinking about taking deposits but the attendance list is looking a bit sparse at the moment. Unless I've missed a post, so far we only have:

Jem
GazChap
TheVision
Trooper
JBR
Kern
Grim…
Cras
KovacsC
Malc
Curiosity
Mr Dave
Goddess Jasmine (maybe)
Bobbyaro
Myp
FunSally

As it stands that's not enough to even consider cottage #2 (although if the cottages website is correct that's still available 04-07).

Can we get some more nods? Anything from the regulars - Mali? NervousPete? Joans? DavPaz?

Grim... did you manage to ask the Hursts? Emelia?

Thank you kindly :)

Cottages? Still just the one. We don't have enough people to justify both, currently.

Hello. In a grotesquely late manner owing to my greatly dimmed online presence so far this year, I would like to put myself in for some Cottage action pwease.

Morning folks. A potential yes this morning has put me into second cottage territory (which, according to the website is still available, but I've not checked with cottage man yet) but there's still quite a few deposits outstanding so I don't want to commit to small cottage only for the costs to be OTT for everyone if people drop out.

Would be good to get deposits for the existing yeses and any further interest?

OK, an update! Did some chasing this morning as well as reaching out to cottage regulars who'd not given me a nod yet, and have confirmed enough names to warrant the second cottage - so this is now a definite, we have both booked.

Hello! Our new friend "Playlist Beast" who came to MeatUp has also expressed interest in Cottage. If you get a random £20 then it's from her.

Oh shit, when I didn't see her on your "owes a deposit" list I thought that was because she'd paid you :)

She and I were just talking about it, I shall correct my mistake.

OK, we're still waiting on a few deposits but those people in question have never let me down before, & it's summer hols next week which will be so manic I'll likely forget if I don't confirm now, so I'm optimistically calling the price at £88.50 per person this year. This includes a quid each to top up the cottage box with soaps, loo rolls etc which has worked really well the past few years. (Any overage gets chucked at pizzas or rolled into next year's pot.)

If you've already paid your £20 deposit that means you now owe £68.50 (except Malc who owes £38.50). If you're one of the 3 people that hasn't paid deposits, you owe £88.50.

Hopefully that's all clear... hoping for no spreadsheet cock-ups this year. :DD
