I've now also done the NZ version, which was pretty good fun! Only the Canada version to go now and i'm all caught up with all the English language versions...

I do wonder if the show would work if they put in the town power roles, you'd have to drop the shields though.

Episode seven SPOILERS:

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The most traitorous traitors ever. Joe is Paul still alive? The traitors are taking every possible opportunity to throw each other under multiple buses. Harry is trying if off Miles and Paul one straight after the other, which with the way Paul is, may not be the most stupid tactic, even though it seems so at the moment.

Paul is too cocky by far. Harry is playing an absolute blinder, I hope he wins.

Diane's funeral was bleak, played completely straight, and utterly over the top. Absolutely amazing piece of television. And Ross played an absolute blinder in not giving anything away.

I love Harry too. His sly comment about two traitors fighting was brilliantly timed and utterly devious.

I don’t think I could watch two series at once, I’d get far too confused. Going to try that second Australian series after this I don’t think I’d bother watching the US one though unless they made some MAJOR changes to the first.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Is Charlotte the one with the thick West Country accent and messy blonde hair? I don’t mind her, she seems alright. I like Andrew, because though he’s usually wrong about the people he stays loyal to, he is unshakeably loyal. He looks like someone inflated Jerome Flynn with steroids. I’m not sure I’d trust Harry as he’s clearly time travelled from being in New Kids On The Block and so probably already know how the show ends.

Stunning ending to Paul's time in the castle, and the bow was well-earned.
Enjoyed Harry's destruction of him but think Harry might have let on a little bit too much about the dungeon plan.
Also, Ross's wink to the camera in the bus topped the already funny "she was my mum first" line.

Felt really sorry for Andrew . He looked really shell-shocked.

I think Paul felt like he could manipulate Harry ‘til the end, so it was good to see the apprentice take down the master. I felt so sorry for Andrew, though. He seems like such a good guy.

Charley has the untamed hair, Evie’s hair is straight. But yes, I didn’t even realise they were two separate people until about episode five. They look very similar.

Well, that revenge arc fizzled out pretty quickly.
Don't know why Ross started going on about Andrew when he could have pushed the "shield/possible recruitment" harder against Zack's babbling brook of smug wrongness.

Anyhow, I think my dream ending now is Zack and Harry, just to see the look on his face when Harry takes the lot.

Harry you lucky bastard but FFS Mollie. Why on earth vote for Jaz when he'd just decided to banish someone.

That’s what I was saying to Russell. Unless she thought they were truly all faithful and thought Jaz was less deserving to split it three ways as he’d decided to go to another round of voting? It would make absolutely no sense for Jaz to go for another round of voting if he were a Traitor. So either she thought that they were all faithful and Jaz had made a mistake, or she was just so freaked out and overwhelmed that she couldn’t compute it (which is fair enough. I would be too).

Well, that was genuinely exciting. I do feel for molly as she must have been devastated, but if she knew the game at all she should have voted Harry. I doubt anyone will make the same mistake again in future. If there are three left and you are a faithful, there is no situation where a single person voting to banish is a traitor. Unless anyone else can think of a situation where it makes any sense?

What an ending!
She looked absolutely gutted. Felt a little bit sympathy because I've voted the wrong way in social deduction games many, many times but then we never had £95k riding on it.

I still don't get why the shield trick didn't really raise suspicions, in particular why nobody thought it odd that Harry wasn't targeted the following night (unless they really were grateful to be rid of Zach). So well played by Harry and Jez got so dam close.

What have we learnt: voters' emotions matter more than we want to admit.

Haven't seen Uncloaked yet but bet that'll be interesting.

I guess it is intense while you are in there. In reality it is 12 days shut off.. Doing tasks, building bonds and emotional rawness

I think Mollie knew as she wrote H then changed her mind.

What a great series.

Australia Season 2.

I think it was a mistake to go down the US route of bringing in some Z List celebrities and Instagram personalities, because they are horrid to watch.

Up to Episode 7 (which is as far as we’ve seen) spoiler.

Jeez, these people are dumb as rocks.

Weirdly, I feel kind of uncomfortable with this season. The ‘head’ traitor, Sam, really makes me feel uncomfortable. I can’t put this in any better way than to say that I would not want to be in a relationship with that guy. The way communicates both to the faithfuls but even more so to his fellow Traitors is chilling, to me. I can’t unsee it. It’s a different thing to Paul in the U.K. series, who I didn’t like but never had the same feeling of sociopathic fear from. I find Sam really difficult to watch.

Sam is a horrible person. I agree with your assessment.
The most frustrating thing for this season was the faithful going "it has to be sam!" confronting him at the round table and him responding "nah, it's not me" and they would all move on to someone else! Insane and so frustrating!

Finished the Australian Season 2.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Sam made me feel really, really uncomfortable and vaguely sick/panicky. I’ve never felt that way about someone on TV before and honestly it has bothered me to the point where I’m glad it’s finished.

The three way Traitor’s dilemma did not work. Mathematically it made no sense. There was no scenario where it made mathematical sense for an individual to share.

They could have added the cleave at that if ONE person chose to share then that person alone would have kept the money to themselves, which rebalances the dilemma.

Though why it didn’t just split three ways automatically once all tve Faithful had gone, I’m not sure.

The Faithful were plain daft. The last two, Sarah and Liam, perhaps the worst of the lot.

A great watch* but fuck me… the faithful were thick as pig shit!!! I thought it was game over for the traitors after Annabelle and Luke stood up, but no.
I didn’t like Sam at all, so glad he got fuck all. Felt bad for Blake, it was like his life was over at the end!

* but not as good as the UK or the first Aus season.

Sherif out…
