Hello everyone, it's me. I'm doing a thing. It's tiny resin men with guns doing shooting at others. I'd say it's a bit like Kill Team, but since I worked on Kill Team I'm not sure if I'm actually allowed to say that, so I won't.

Look at a brief post about it here. I promise it's really good, and there are hardly any Slayer lyrics in the rulebook*.

*ok, there are loads, but nerdy wargamers are bang into Slayer, innit?

In the grimdark of the 41st millennium, there is a the Codex Astartes. The great and holy tome of space marine military doctorine.

Now there is something else.

Mali-tary doctrine. Dial M for MurderBus, destination Stabbytown.

I saw this on an advert earlier:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cl ... ng%20table

May be of interest to some with deep pockets and a large playing room? It's a $500 table with high sides and various additions to make "the perfect" gaming table

If it's made well, that's a fucking bargain.

Depending on how much the shipping stings, of course.

Oof, $159 shipping for just the table, and to be honest you want the covers and the drinks holders and all that guff to go with it, so it gets rather expensive rather fast.

There's a ton ofsunken gaming tables around already. https://naturaltwentytables.co.uk/ for instance. That one looks pretty bare-bones.

Anyway, !

The covers are the same price again, and without them is it really any different to a normal table?

Not really, apart from the surface and the walls. Hence it's not as cheap as I originally thought (it comes it at only a little less than the ones Dimrill linked to once you add all the bits on that you'd actually want).

I've thought about building my own, there's nothing that complex going on and I've got the tools I'd need.

I don't have anywhere to put one, though :)

Got a captain and a lieutenant (3/4 done) because officers are important. The shields are fun.

Got inspired to start going through some of my build pile the other month.

This was my favourite one so far, though. A Viper from Battlestar Galactica that I decided to do in a fairly Wipeout-inspired race livery. Just a really nice (but rare now) kit to put together and after being unsure when the paint went on a bit of weathering and I was happy with how it ended up.

Got a WWI Albatros to start on, some great schemes to choose from :nerd:

Here, in a pivotal moment during The Battle for Amazon Prime, the heroic yellow hatted Blood Angels vanguard have leapt from the APC and are about to fire ineffectually at the heretic Adeptus Mechanics before all getting killed.

Their sacrifice, however, held the wrong 'uns big guns up long enough for the elite troops to get into position and tidy up.

They’re brilliant, Dimmers.

I was going to ask about the colouration, and whether colours are ‘dictated’ by the makers or if you can go completely freestyle, but I guess from Zardoz’s reply it is the latter.
