I don’t know what sort of readership this thread gets outside of Rummage Inc but I’m going to post here first and if there’s not a lot of responses I might make a new thread.

Are there any people here who haven’t played D&D and would like to play in a one shot? That’s a game with the whole story intended to be played out completely in one session, and with pre generated characters provided for you. If there’s enough interest, I might pull one together for one evening when I’m home alone. Aiming for four or five players.

I read this thread! I think if I had any chance of understanding what was going on, and if I wasn’t in the middle of moving, I’d say yes just so that I ‘understood’ this thread better.

It won’t happen for a couple of weeks (until Jen’s shifts line up with my days off) so might be at a time that suits you better? No supplies or rules or anything are needed, I’ll provide all the details you need including a crib sheet of what you can do on your turn although typically you would say what you want to do “I want to explore that abandoned house” and I would tell you what I needed for you to do that “roll an investigation check, by rolling a d20 and adding your investigation modifier”. There’s electronic dice available through the character sheet on DnDBeyond.
