Hello excellent ladies and gentlemen.
I want to knit a present for a dear friend who lives in Italy. She has recently moved across Italy to Roma.
I do not know the temperatures in Rome and so do not know what is warm and what is cold. I am not so stupid as not to Google it before you all start firing rude web acronyms (don't tell me it isn't an acronym, either, cos I know) at me.
Anyway, the little table below gives average temperatures.
The problem is, I do not understand temperatures at all. I do not know what number corresponds to a warm day, to a cold day, to a freezing day... If someone could tell me what it is like in winter (December/January) in Roma, and how that corresponds to, say, a month in our UK temperatures (so, January in Roma is like April in the UK) I'd love you forever.
Without knowing it'll make it very hard for me to make her something suitable to her climate.
Sorry for sounding like an idiot
