On the 24th of October, Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 come out, followed by Fallout 3 on the 31st.

These are all pretty vital games it would seem at the moment. WHATEVER WILL WE DO? Personally, I'm getting all three. TRIPLE F! FFF! etc.

Also, there are too many games to play already - can't they pause the release schedules for a year or so to let me catch up?

Darryl and Sam have been waiting months for Fable 2 and had planned to get it on release, until I pointed out to them that it's the day we leave for the US so we won't be in the country when the shops open.

Got loads to play through at the moment, I'll pick them up when they drop in price probably or stick them on my Chrimble list.

I might get Fallout 3 at a pinch, but I'm not that interested in the other two. If you're complaining about the release schedule, why not wait a year before buying them? You'll then get them cheaper and you'll have time to complete the rest of the games you've got.

As for LBP, I'm still not tempted to get a PS3 just for it and a couple of other titles.

I'm more excited about Dead Space than the F's too.

But I won't be getting any of them till they are cheaper. The only game I'll probably end up getting at launch is mirror's edge.

But it is the best looking game coming out for it. possibly the only one mind this xmas that isnt multi.

If you're going to buy and play all three, best get one at a time. By the time you've finished the first game, the second will be significantly cheaper, and when you've finished that one too the third title will be half price or less.

Buy the games all at once at launch and then trade them in asap so that when I do it is cheaper for me.

I don't have one, unfortunately. I usually wait a fair while before buying new consoles, and I'm skint at the moment.

I have a friend who buys every game he wants on release date, plays them for usually a week or so, then never touches them again. He is 29 and still lives with his parents, mind.

There is only one important game coming out in the second half of 2008, and that is Fallout 3. Anyone who says otherwise is a madman.

Maybe so, however I don't give a much of a toss about how "important" games are, just how fun they are.

It will also be the only fun game. Having fun with any other game is verboten.

Well, if you've the time to play them all at once, then fine, but remember you won't be able to trade them in until you've finished with them, so how buying them at launch instead of waiting until you're ready to play each title can be cheaper is beyond me.

Not from what I've seen so far and having never played any Fallout games it's fair to say that I'm anticipating my next shit with a greater sense of excitement. However if the good people on here start jizzing over it I'll probably have a look...the game that is, not my next shit, that would just be weird.

Farcry made me jump too much, so I'd probably have a coronary or something.

Therefore it will just be THE MIGHTY FALLOUT for me.

As far as I can tell though fallout is just a generic FPS sequel to a couple of ancient RPGs... I must be missing somehting.

I'm only really interested in Fallout 3... Fable 2 is a Molyneux game and therefore will likely be shit, and Far Cry 2 comes from a company who get their Senior Game Ruiners from the same place as Capcom.
