No issues at all, but it is not one for anyone without reasonable VR legs.

The worst I ever experienced was Dirt Rally with the camera locked to the car, had to go straight to bed and I could still feel it the next day. I think that might even get to me now.

Does it have a head tracking mode? Can you play that ok?

Yeah it has a normal mode and that's absolutely fine. The one I was using has head tracking but the camera is locked rigidly to a point in space that is fixed relative to the car. It feels very unnatural and it's completely unlike pilot mode in wipeout, partially because it's rally cars rather than floaty anti-gravity racers but mostly I think that both there and in the normal mode on Dirt Rally there's some damping at play.

I'd never heard of Red Matter before but I think it'll be the next game I play (after AC: Origins) because it sounds like exactly what I'm after in a VR game. Simple concept (escape room) immersively rendered:

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019 ... me-to-date

The price is high of course but, when is it not with VR stuff?

Same here. There are choice games I'd like to get like Tetris Effect, which are way out my price range at the moment, but I have a plenty big enough back catalogue to get by before they come down.

That said, I did miss out on cheap wipeout THREE times because the Android PlayStation app crapped out THREE times at checkout, when the omega collection was going for £11 or something.

Struggled last night getting the last two Robots in Rescue Mission.

Just read that you need another player to get them... >:(

My Physical copy was £13 from Argos in Jan.
Back up to £29.99 now though... sorry.

16.99 here though: https://www.gamingnerds.co.uk/video-gam ... XMQAvD_BwE

cheers, that's not bad at all. Unfortunately I just bought Sunless Seas on t'pc so can't afford any more games at the mo (even if it was only a fiver).

I have the Wipeout Demo waiting for me, so I'll be giving that a blast anyway to see if it gives an intestinal prolapse.

In the full game or the demo thing? I got all of them in the full game and I never played with anyone else.

Gave this a whirl last night. What a wonderful place to retreat to. Feels very Rez, which is unsurprising given its maker. Not sure three levels is enough to get the most out of it. Will definitely be picking this up (when it's sub £20)

Ace Combat 7 is fucking brilliant.

Few goes in baby mode to get used to the controls then last night I donned the magic helmet.

Cheers Maverick Markg!

Played the first two missions again with the Su-30 I'd unlocked and it was nice to feel and see a big difference over the starting Hornet.

Unlocked the A-10 after mission two and played it over again. Fucking delightful.

Finally cleaned my office for VR so finally tried Creed, which I bought in a sale ages ago. It’s neat! Smacking people about is fun and boxing is a great fit for VR.

Lots of cute ideas, too. For example there are training mini games (hitting combos at a dummy, fast-hitting a speed bag, power punching a big bag, etc.) Before a fight you do a loop of these, about one every ten seconds, for a minute. How well you do sets your stamina during the fight. So it’s literally a training montage...!

Does it? Well, I never knew that.

I don't think i've ever actually lost a fight though, it's a huge amount of fun and a great workout, but it's not exactly the trickiest of games.
A multiplayer mode would rock.

It tells you this. A star rating for your stamina pops up at the end of the training montage.

To be fair, the PVP mode is only a few months old, it wasn't always there!

Ah, you have the PC version? Fair enough. PvP was always part of PSVR but was patched into the earlier PC release.

I like the sound of that, but I fear the accompanying music would make me smash the headset into my skull. Let us know how you get on.

Yeah, can't say that what's in the video is exactly my cup of tea but I'm just hoping that there's enough different sounds in there to have fun with.

Started my VR play through of RE7 last night.

Much better experience once I turned off the 'clicky 30º turning' and switched to smooth.

I knew what was coming from playing the game before but, playing through again in VR is rather more intense :D

Managed to get to the main house hallway, just after the garage section.

Amazing. :zombie:

Electronauts is good fun, some decent tunes in there, it's a slight shame you can only remix tunes and not mix from one to another but otherwise it's decent. Polished, not shovelware shite and well worth £3.99.

Friend at work struggled with motion sickness with this too, mrak :(

I found the clicky turns very jarring, the ducking is clunky too.

Crept further around the house last night, only half remembering what to expect. The generator room was rather intense.

Probably. It was the first game I typically chucked on for a VR experience at the time.

Life in the Resident Evil house is much nicer with a shotgun.

Got myself out to the caravan then onto the Old house. Making good progress so far. Flame grilled insect time.

Sounds like the sort of thing @doctor Glyndwr would enjoy.
