OK,

I'm a little bit drunk, and I should go to bed as I have an early start in the morning, but, and this is a feeling I haven't had in a while, I hear oblivion calling and it's calling my name.

In the past when I've heard it, I've just drank until there is nothing more to drink, but now, I'm a bit older, and supposed to be more mature, so I'm asking BEEX, should I start drinking Vodka and Pepsi Max, or should I go to bed?

No. Vodka and Fentimans obviously.

Am told that with certain drinks, Fentimans Cola works superbly as a mixer.

Have a pint of milk and go to bed. (Or use Nesquik and make a pint of milkshake, which is nicer.)

Another drink now is never worth it in the morning, the fact you're asking the question means you know the correct answer.

Occasionally I like to do stuff that tests me, like stay up all night and see how I cope the next day (I've done a lot of that with the ashes recently, but also the election night this year, and sometimes I download entire tv series and stay up watching those) this is one of those times I feel. I have had one (probably a tripple) vodka and pepsi, and another is coming up.

Far too much sensible advice on this forum, I think. I'm only 35 ffs, I say fuck school nights, I can cope.

Bloody hell, that had too much vodka and not enough pepsi in.

Bleugh!

I can't. Not because I don't want to (and believe me if I wasn't on these pills I'd be smashed most of the time) but because I can't. It's dangerous and stupid and sacrifices must be made. But I do miss the all night piss up sessions I used to have. Waking up on the floor and sharting ETC.

We had a cracking moony competition on an old forum once. Eee, them were the days lol.

Oh My,

The Vodka has gone, but there, on the side, is a bottle of wine, I won earlier in the year, at I think the Easter fair.

If I can find the corkscrew, it's being oppened

Vodka and Pepsi? Yeurch!

Bed in the case of above, but if you have it, then why not wine.

Wine is nice. As long as it is nice wine. What wine is it?

Also do not disturb your neigbours. But enjoy your glugging. Watch Reeves & Mortimer on You Tube or read Calvin & Hobbes, say I.

The only person likely to disturb my neighbours is my (725 day old) daughter. She has woken up for the 4th time since my partner (Ms Slinky) went to bed, so even if I wasn't getting drunk, I would still be being kept awake.

Should I really be having wine, on top of beer and vodka?

Really? The last time I did that (granted in quantities about 10 times what I have consumed so far) I tried to push my boss into the thames when HAlle bopp was in the sky over Easter because he tried to chat up ms slinky.

Where are you? On the floor? Are you likely to leave home and find his residence and wake him and do this?

If so, hi-larious! :)

My current boss isn't in lust with girlfriend, my ex bos isn't in Devon. We're not near the Thames, and there are no comets in the sky, I don't think I will be trying to push anyone into any river (and the nearest river to me at the moment is the Erme, which is a fast moving rapids type river, rather than a slow moving river with large banks on that you could watch comets on and then try and kill your boss on)

It predates that, I've been using it for ages, a good 15 years I'd wager.

Hangovers really started affecting me allot more when i got to about 25 ish so i rarely drink myself any more, but i think that has more to do with me also suffering from horrible memory blanks also if i have one drink to many, and the feeling of horror the next morning as my imagination goes into overdrive about the stupid shit i 'may have done' the night before puts me off more than the hangover tbh.

My misses works for Diageo so our drinks cupboard is mightily stocked at all times, which is funny since neither of us drink much.

Tequila nearly always give me memory loss. Mind you, I only really drink that after several pints.

Can't remember the last time I had a hangover and that's not because of memory loss brought on by drink. In fact I can't remember the last time I was very, very drunk. I tend not to do that these days.

The worst hangovers seem to be the ones that occur when you didn't even get pissed. I had 5 pints over a 5 hour period last night and feel like crap.
