My money is on foxes fighting/fucking. The noises they make are very much of the sort you'd expect to come from a small animal/child being violently murdered.

The first time I heard foxes fucking I thought a monkey was being strangled, which was quite unsettling as I was out of my tree, in bed, alone, at the time.

I struggle to remember a time when I've not been lulled to sleep by the blood curdling shriek of foxes fucking.

FremantleMedia International Launches Georgeville TV’s Remake of Cult Series Blake's 7 To MIPTV Buyers

MIPTV, Cannes, 8 April 2013 - FremantleMedia International today launches the eagerly anticipated remake of the cult drama Blake’s 7 to international buyers at MIPTV. In development with US cable network Syfy, the 13 x 1 hour series will be produced by Georgeville TV, the independent studio co-founded by Leon Clarance of Motion Picture Capital, the financing arm of Reliance Entertainment, and producer Marc Rosen. The science fiction classic will be written by Joe Pokaski (Heroes, CSI) and directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, GoldenEye).

The year is 2136, Blake wakes up on one side of the bed. He reaches for the other side. There’s nobody there. As reality sets in, this handsome ex-soldier sits up, and looks at a photo of his wife Rachel. Beautiful. Deceased.

A revolutionary reinvention of the long-running BBC series made in the late 1970s, Blake’s 7 tells the story of seven criminals - 6 guilty and 1 innocent - on their way to life on a prison colony in space, who together wrestle freedom from imprisonment. They acquire an alien ship which gives them a second chance at life and become the most unlikely heroes of their time.

Blake's 7: Classic BBC sci-fi to return on Syfy channel

Cult classic sci-fi series Blake's 7 is to be remade for the Syfy network, it has been announced.

FremantleMedia International said 13 hour-long episodes will be written by Heroes writer Joe Pokaski.

It added, in a statement, that Casino Royale and Goldeneye director Martin Campbell was also on board.

The original series, which ran on the BBC between 1978 and 1981, followed the exploits of a group of renegades and convicted criminals.

Roj Blake, played by Welsh actor Gareth Thomas, was a political dissident arrested, tried and convicted on false charges by a brutal totalitarian government, and then deported from Earth to a prison planet.

Stealing a spaceship, Blake and his team conducted a campaign against the ruling Terran Federation.

Comparing Blake's 7 with the hit US sci-fi series Star Trek, The Independent said in 1998: "No 'boldly going' here: instead, we got the boot stamping on a human face which George Orwell offered as a vision of humanity's future in Nineteen Eighty-Four."

At its peak, the series was watched by 10 million viewers and was sold to 40 countries. A range of Blake's 7 merchandise including books, magazines, annuals and toys were also released.

A radio adaptation, featuring This Life's Daniela Nardini as villain Servalan, was made in 2006.

According to FremantleMedia, the new series will be set in 2136 and will "tell the story of seven criminals - six guilty and one innocent - on their way to life on a prison colony in space, who together wrestle freedom from imprisonment".

The latest announcement is not the first time a remake of Blake's 7 has been attempted.

In 2003, a miniseries was shelved after actor Paul Darrow - who played Kerr Avon in the original show - left the project.

Later in 2008, Sky One announced it had commissioned two 60-minute scripts for a potential series but two years later said it had decided not to commission it.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Leaked by uPlay Exploit

Russian hackers have figured out a way to download free games from Ubisoft's servers, exploiting an existing vulnerability in Ubisoft's uPlay launcher. The launcher is available with most of the publisher's titles, and also carries games from EA and Square Enix.

The hackers developed a piece of software which tricks the uPlay executable into believing that the user has ownership over games that they do not own. It is possible to acquire the direct download link for the game and play it offline, thereby bypassing the uPlay DRM.

The hack has allowed users to download advance copies of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon–a game which has yet to be officially released. Weighing in at 3051mb, the game is complete in a fully playable state and is only available through use of the hack.

Ubisoft has yet to patch the exploit, but we have good reason to believe that the publisher will ban any accounts caught using the software.

I can't imagine they would. For starters, you might go looking for the tracker and remove it, then steal the car, which kind of defeats the purpose of them putting it on there.
