Thanks, all. They liked the presentation* I did and how I done it to them, too.

*MaliA protip: if you have lots of figures, work out what the %ages are between them (umbrellas sold 25 units more than coats which sold 20 units) beforehand, then dazzle people when you calculate them on the fly in front of them.

What did you use when you'd counted on all six legs and both wings?

Some fruit flies have 8 legs. this is when they have antennaepedia which is a gene mutation to cause elgs to grow from their heads.

I always find the best thing to do in those circumstances is to fill an envelope with my own teeth.

I've applied for the job in the team next to me as it is permanent and not a three month contract and made sure to tell my line manager this.

Right, yeah, a recruitment woman calls me up about a job in Leeds and I asked her to send me the details, and I'll speak to her later on this afternoon. So, I check me email, and she's forwarded the email with the details that she sent to someone else, leaving their reply attached to it.

Someone smarter and with more time than me should compare the conviction rates of MPs compared to the general population. After the last few years I bet they don't come out too well.

Private eye did last year. it was 10x that of general population, IIRC.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for ... 64523.html this would be nice as an interim measure, but I worry about:

The canal flooding
Living between office blocks
People walking down the canal towpath
Reavers

Today has dragged like nothing else and I've still got an hour to go at work!

I'm just glad I managed to get my Wii games in alphabetical order last night, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to cope today. I'm moving my shelves around you see so things have got mixed up. My 360 games are still unorganised but that's tonight's job.

Today has been fun...

Had a 4+ hour drive to our offices in Glasgow. Then back to back meetings. Roll on home time.

Coincidentally, Wii and 360 games are the only ones I have in alphabetical order at all. What I should do is put this lot in order instead -

Just received an email entitled 'The Alzheimer’s Show – Tickets Now On Sale'. I'm guessing it's not really some kind of variety performance thing.

They'd already sent me the same email an hour before too.
