The only thing Demonoid was great for that Pirate Bay plus torrentz.eu can't replace is comics.

You're a technical architect at one of the world's largest technology outsourcing and consultancy firms. I reckon you can handle the challenge.

I'm with usenetserver.com at $10/month for unlimited downloads. Dunno what the difference between providers is, really.

Giganews has ridiculously long retention which is good for older stuff. Not sure it's $15 a month good.

I went to the real ale pub in Bingley. Positive were the beer was good. Negatives were the place was like a shop, very sterile, and the 3 other people in there were progressive rock musicians. Probably won't go back. Only had a pint and a half.

A few weeks ago I received 3 emails from an "Ashley Thompsom". Clearly they were sent to the wrong address as it was just 3 pictures of a young girl with red hair. Nothing too racy but still quite amusing.

This week I received another email from the same Ashley and the subject read "I hope UR happy coz Im not" and this picture was attached.

How strange?

I haven't got Facebook.. what did you find as it's not a normal surname. Thompsom, not Thompson.

The usual, boring minutae of the displaced and the lonely's lives stuffed into a text box and piped down cables at the speed of light into soulless computers which display them on a moribund screen. And my friend C's stuck her holiday photos up. Which is A GOOD THING.

You can buy a card that references Facebook, you know. To give to people. Which I suppose some people might like to do. Not me, though. I can't see the point of a card that doesn't have a picture of me, glowering out.

Jesus christ, that Anna Lucia woman is making me want to stop watching Lost. The actress always plays exactly the same sneery pseudo "hardass" woman character and it's fecking tedious.

I'm guessing I didn't find the video that MrsA just showed me funny as I) I don't understand high energy particle physics and ii) I don't know who Adele is, nor her songs.

Pretty tight venn diagram that.

I would bang Michelle Rodriguez from here to eternity if I were still single.

She was on Hawaii being fired from lost for drunk driving around then.

Her loss.

Dear Warhead

I am contacting you in regards to your C.V. that we have seen online recently and you seem to have some great skillsets and work experience that we think can help you actively contribute and succeed in our organisation.

We currently need more Business Coaches and we are actively searching for people whom can use their skillsets, work experience and personal attributes to make a successful transition into a new and vibrant Industry - Business Coaching. We are offering both Employed roles and self employed roles as a Professional Business Coach depending on your suitability.

To be considered for any of these employed or self-employed roles, You must have at least 10 years work experience in at least one business related field such as marketing, sales, finance, management etc....

If they'd READ my fucking CV they'd know I don't have "10 years work experience in at least one business related field such as marketing, sales, finance, management etc", but then really all they want is me to give them £10k for their training sessions and franchise fee. Well they can feck right off.

Progressive rock is a it like Jazz but without the intelligence or the skill. To participate, you need a haircut that makes a statement. Generally this statement is "I'm a ponytail attached to a wanker". Bingley itself is a small town in Airedale. it is well served by rail and road. Bradford isn't too far away. The pub was small, had a few tables on a laminate wooden floor. Beer was in kegs, racked behind the bar. As it should be.

Jolly good. Were they (the prog rock musicians) members of a band of which I might have heard? Or were you unable to glean that information?

Sadly, I became engrossed in "How Do", a free magazine catering for the artsy types in the Bradford area. It had very many interesting articles in it, and decent listing of films by the person that did 'Spirited away' that are to be shown soon. They did mention needing a bassist, but I'm too cool for them.

Hmmm, I was a bassist in a prog rock band in 1971. We were rubbish.

Now I must go and drink beer with my neighbours.

Abientot.
