I went through a phase of recording all the ones being shown on ITV8 or Dave+20yrs or whatever channel it was, and fell foul of the syndrome of not watching them because there's too many to watch.

Those direct line adverts are dire!

Who the fuck are they appealing to?

Especially the "dave" one and the one with the Scottish mental one from Green wing.

Just plain crap.

Chris Addison is very good in The Thick of It and seems quite a nice person on twitter. Never really watched his stand up though.

It was alright, more an amusing show that I let wash over me while I was waiting for something funny to come on.

But I did like the Dimrill.

That is still Surprise Tony Slattery. I never mentioned quantity or activity.

No. But my statement was accurate regardless of the amount of bumming.

Bear in mind early-mid 90s Slattery was a coked up unmedicated Slattery. I quite like him.

The latter stages of the run fell into a predictable lull though. Always ending with a ho-down, doing the hands things evey week where Mochrie would fling jelly into Ryan Styles' face etc.

Totally agree, the earlier series were much better. John Session was always an insufferable prick regardless of the series though ;)

It just felt very wanky/la-de-da to me.

I can see why you'd love it. :attitude: :DD

You know, I paid my dues. What with the "fun" trip to hospital and all.

So it can't be that.
