Nice to see that the pub behind where I live has a pinball table, Stern's Family Guy. Not too bad, but it's not exactly a Theatre of Magic. £1 a go too or £2 for Tournament play where you can win cash.. how does that work?

"Define an English person" used to give the same result, but now the top links are all articles about it.

A squid can inseminate your mouth tissue as you eat it... even if it's been cooked.

I posted as much in the old B&B just before the slide into "I want the last post" gibberish.

I observed that I wouldn't mind trying that save where he's won. My problem with Civ2 was how it became a tedious micromanagement game for the finale (but on a huge scale thanks to the size of your empire by that point) so concentrating on fixing the infrastructure should be fun.

I miss this place too, dude. I'm also missing the beexbeque due to family shit. Sorry all (and Grim...). someone else has to vom on the driveway.

How's you and the lovely Mrs You, anyway? You all jobbed up yet? I'm not reading 60,000 posts.

We ordered in a curry tonight, and ate it whilst watching the football with Chris MOyles doing the commentary. Which was way more fun than it sounds. The food was excellent, and I've had some beers and I'm quite pleased MrsA is home. She'seven forgiven me for the whole list of tasks that I was aware of that I didn't do. Things like "change the bed","water the plants","vacuum","other things she said and I really was listening". Still going to her parents tomorrow though MR SAD FACE.

I choose Walking In Memphis, I sung I'm Raving I'm Raving. An excellent amount of people in the crowd got it, even if the useless karaoke woman didn't.
I've not paid for a drink since, but I think it's time to go home now.

The bar is closing, but the barmaid is saying I can stay for more shots.

Just returned from shopping to find a workie building a new fence between us and the right hand side neighbours' back yard. We haven't had a fence there since they moved in about 18 months ago as it came down with the shed (on our side) which I removed whilst the neighbouring house was empty.

We weren't consulted or even informed about this in advance and we're slightly peeved. We were under the impression that we owned that side of the property.

Conveniently, the neighbours went out shortly after we arrived home. Good job really as MrsPaz was hopping mad!

Arrived in Buxton. Leaving tomorrow, apparently. "Early" although I suspect I won't get home in time to do anything fun as MrsA will go to the supermarket with her mum, then we'll have to see her sister, etc. I want a drink, now.

Half a fucking hour wrestling the hard drive out of old computer 2, because even with the Win98 CD I miraculously produced from somewhere, it was still unable to find and install drivers for the ethernet card which had work just fucking fine before. The three drives (Floppy, HDD and DVD, comp is 13 years old) were all screwed into a bracket which was then somehow screwed into a frame so half the screws are virtually inaccessible. They must have had one of those snake-drill things to do some of them.

Think I've managed to connect it up as a slave to old computer 1 so I can get all the old stuff I want off the hard drive. Then off to the dump with them!
