Congratulations, MaliA. Go and celebrate some. There's a Simon and Garfunkel night on BBC4 tonight, I think.

DOES THIS DAY GET ANY BETTER?

Oh, yeah, I had bacon and poached egg muffin for lunch. In front of MrsA.

Phone interview went well enough yesterday that I start work a week Monday for 3 months, at least, as a 'Forecast Analyst'. So, I'm back in the saddle. To celebrate I read a book in the pub and then bought MrsA a bottle of wine. We are SO pushing the beds together tonight. Also, we are moving and stuffs.

Superb!

The forecast was for snow today, but it didn't. WHAT DOES THIS MEANS?!?

Thanks! I'm already planning how the largest table I can get into the attic of the new place for Zombies...! action. And a course in lighting fires, as it has a proper fireplace.

Cheers. To celebrate, I am going to bash the Telecaster some and entertain the neighbours with a medley of Simon and Garfunkel's greatest hits. And then some Elastica, then some Ramones.

Any chance you could move in next door to us and usurp my neighbour's extremely suspect turned-up-to-11 boy band medleys?

Also, brilliant news. Hope it leads into something permanent. You deserve it.

Congrats to Lewie and Mali.

Would love to have a real fire to heat the house with. Gathering round the storage heater lacks a certain something, I feel.

Superb news, mali. Just make sure you're too awesome for them to not make you permanent. Which would really mean just turning up, as you're awesome and stuffs. :luv:

Excellent news MaliA/Lewie.

For myself, sex in Macclefield hit a new high today, as the young lady I saw not only completed the interview, but also provided urine and saliva samples. Maximum fees for me on this one. REEEEEESULT.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, but it sounds like something Patrick Bateman might get up to in his spare time.

Brilliant news Lewie, that should look brilliant on your CV. It's great to see you achieving so much and getting the job you want.
Mali that'd great for you as well, I hope the company are good and give you something longer term.
Bobby my weekend has started and I'm on the beer as well :) expect drunken Gilly and Jen on the Xbox later. I'm getting spoiled with a tasty dinner tonight as well because tomorrow is Gilly day :)

You mean you haven't already hung the traditional Gill Day decorations? I already have my trains dangling from the ceiling.

Estate Agent termination fee - Cancelled.

After pointing out the legal flaws in their contract and their application of same, it has been cancelled not because of these points, which are never referred to in their letter, but because the branch partner had never meant it to be raised as he had marked it to be waived and the message hadn't been passed on. Yeah, right.

Had a bit of design work come my way which meant I'd be able to buy the speakers I fancied quicker than I thought. Now the work has become a bit more involved so my budget will now get me the ones that I really wanted. :) :metul:

Just need to decide on the colour now.

Praise de lord.

The car has passed its MOT with no probs. I always get nervous about it failing. Last year it failed because one of the rear light bulbs wasn't working, but I have my doubts about the failure as there are THREE bulbs in each side and only one of them had failed, so I did have lights working on both sides, just not every bulb.
