I had wrapped my head in South Africa. It was well protected.

Back in the single player and it has got a bit fucking grindy. I'm winning R1 races by 8 seconds, and I'm still on year 9, race 19 of 24. Not looking forward to seeing how many races are in the final year.

Exactly, I'm winning them by quite a margin. Once you get through the dodgems that is the AI, at least.

You know what this needs? Qualifying option. You can get up the front of the grid, and then the AI knows what kind of times you are capable of and adjusts accordingly.

You could bump the AI difficulty up so it's a more challenging race. Or use a car that's not quite as good

AI difficulty is on expert. And I'm using a 2006 car.

Also, I'm guessing it's 26 races for season ten. They seem to increase by two races each season.

Gran Turismo (the original one) had it - why did it vanish?

Or even, in the multi-race series', not putting you at the back of the pack when you've won the previous x races.

It doesn't always put you at the back, though, it just puts you 'somewhere'. Although it does seem to be near the back, I've started from second place before (but never first).

It always puts me 8th out of 12.

Because mainstream gamers who don't care about becoming good at games don't want unnecessary options. Just use the rewind function to have a perfect race every time!

Chinny's cars hate that track, I move to make that the official Chinny Track.

I'd happily do that and more every week if it didn't take so chuffing long to get the movie files to a) render, b) upload to the Forza website and then c) download again. Even doing it super-efficiently (making another movie and rendering it while the first one downloads) still means well over half an hour per 30 second clip.
