Apart from when the hammer boss traps you in a corner and kills you, so if you continue you get instakilled each time you restart as you can't get out the corner.

Brilliant design there devs! :belm:

I've finished another iOS game ( I love that they are so short, I can actually complete some games)

Guardian Saga this time - 8 bit rpg, usual story evil beings to kick the shit & find some crystals to save the world but good to revisit some old-school gaming.
Next I'm going to play the sequel to one of my favourite iOS games - Sword & Poker 2 :)

Third play through I've kept the car they gave me after the super car and a fully-specced engine, but it's slow going. A little too slow, in fact, but good enough entertainment for the cash. Think that's it with this style of games, though - they do get repetitive.

I won the first one, but not the second, and, since then, I've not been too bothered to try over.

Er, huh.
Did you use your magic key and that's where you re-entered the level?

Nope, didn't use the key, just entered the level via the level door, fought boss, jumped out of level door next to boss as I was about to die, popped back through door after healing myself and got trapped in the corner closest to the door.

Bah, sounds like a bug then. Do you have time to use your magic key to get out?

Tricky for two reasons.

Reason 1, two hit kill as soon as I spawn, I don't even last a full second.

Reason 2, I deleted the bloody game 2 days ago :D

The hammer boss didn't even get near me. I fireballed his ass to death.

Solomon's Keep is good fun; excellent value for free! How many levels are there, I wonder?

Solomon's Boneyard, however, is a bit shit.

The answer is:
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
12, then the boss.

Lots of replay value, too.

Solomon's Boneyard is ace. But it's brutal and requires perseverance.

What's your high score, Grim...?

Dunno, it's on the iPad. Not huge - time was around 35 minutes.

I find the ice guy to be the best, but getting the balance between mana regeneration and damage as you level up is tricky.

The ice guy is definitely the best, especially when you upgrade to a 120° cone. I managed to find an epic ring yesterday, giving me +100% mana regen, which was awesome.

I get slaughtered at around 2200 points every time, though. Shit be overwhelming.

Some things don't seem to be indexed in the iTunes search very quickly. Google+ took ages, and Find My Friends did today as well. Best bet is to find a direct link or use your computer, or just wait until it appears.

I would like to recommend Extraction to you as it looks like a "gritty" cannon fodder with zombies and incredibly elegant controls. (universal and reduced to 69p)

I would like to recommend Major Mayhem to you as it looks like a brilliant cartoony operation wolf/virtual cop game designed around a touch screen. (universal and reduced to 69p)

But I can't because all the time I've had with the iPad has been spent playing King Cashing: a One arm bandit crossed with an RPG that the developer was inspired to make after first creating it in Game Dev Story. It's currently free. It barely meets the criteria for a game and you should defiantly, definitely play it. http://www.kingcashing.com/

(oh and before you worry the Dev has said no to in app payments).

EDIT: I'm enjoying the defiantly/definitely typo there. So do that.
