Is relaxed not an emotion? It's a feeling, certainly.

A long deserted Greek village in Turkey, which got earthquaked to fuck a long while back. Awesome ghost town.

EDIT - Kayakoy, that was it.

I was going to go there when I was in Turkey, as it wasn't far from where I was staying. I didn't get time, though, unfortunately, and now I'm slightly disappointed. I'd certainly have given up the shitty boat trip for that.

You appear to be the only one there that's actually, er, acting.

Do you call it acting?

Pvt Kern takes his duties seriously. And has no qualms about using others for cover, it appears.

:D
Not a term we often hear, probably advisably.

Unless we're required to avoid modern talk, when there's little going on it seems typical in most groups for the banter to be mostly non-period (we're all mates, after all). For that event I'd fallen in with a unit over there, so other than my pard to the right I didn't know any one so most of the injokes were beyond me. But they were cool and made me feel welcome nonetheless. I found that picture on Flickr after searching for the event: I can't remember what point in the battle that picture was taken, but it looks like either we are waiting for the Rebs to appear, or there's some faff going on which we're not party too. Kneeling starts to hurt after a while (and no, I don't go prone).

My wife's attempt at making coloured Easter eggs by melting wax crayons and, well, I'd be lying if I said I was really paying much attention. It... wasn't a great success.
