Another Black Friday thing but Threadless are doing $10 T-shirt and $30 hoodies. This one is tempting.

Mount & Blade: Warband on Steam for a fiver. Don't get the twin-pack of M&B and Warband, as Warband IS basically M&B with tons of extra stuff and multiplayer thrown in. You only need the second one. You'd be a prize belm not to take up this offer.

The Humble Indie Bundle 2 has Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, and Revenge of the Titans for a pay-what-you-want price (for Mac/Win/Linux), and late last week they added the ability to activate the games on Steam (not all of them are on there yet, but they are all going to be added soon).

And then that /blog/ link is just an empty Wordpress install.

Lewie's been having ongoing hosting problems with Savygamer and i'm sure one of his recent tweets was that he was going to bin the current provider and move to a fresh one so we're probably just in the time between the two hosts.

As long as he knows. Although "nuking from orbit and starting over" makes it sound like he's not managed to migrate the data out of his old install, which is a bit 8)

That'll fit the older 360s and not just the new slim ones, right? Miss Malabar is after one for her brother.

It does fit the old ones - however i've also seen posts that with a bit of work (or a plastic case which is about £7 from Dealextreme) it can also fit the new ones

Nah, I migrated the data fine, I just had to rebuild the theme, which took me several hours today.

My old host was causing me no end of problems, so I switched to a new one. Should be fine now (although DNS propegation is still going on, so some people might not be able to access the site. Should be totally fine in ~24 hours).

Score of 63 on Metacritic. That's above average for a fiver - hmmmm, I really shouldn't.

*ahem* Anyway, Steam's website seems to be going a bit nuts right now but the other sale bargain I spotted was FEAR Complete (FEAR + both expansions, FEAR 2 + DLC) for £5.74:

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6949/

Also: The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom for 39p:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/40930/

EDIT: Ah, Lewie's on the case: http://savygamer.co.uk/2010/12/20/steam ... -on-place/

PS. Gravitron 2 is ace, and a bargain for 74p:

Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer ... Super Meat Boy brings the old school difficulty of classic NES titles like Mega Man 2, Ghost and Goblins and Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Japanese one) ... Ramping up in difficulty from hard to soul crushing

And yet it's filed under "casual games" on Steam!

Super Meat Boy is a no brainer at that price. I have it on the Xbox 360, but now I can play it on a train :)

Also, don't buy anything except for daily specials until the end of the sale, because anything else could be discounted futher.

If you have Bad Company 2 on Steam, the EA appear to be giving out the Vietnam expansion/DLC thing for free.

If you are buying whisky, and you like the sounds of those deals, for around £10 more (in Morrisons, not sure if it's RRP but don't think it's a special offer) you can get a bottle of Laphroaig quarter cask which is one of the most delicious whiskies ever if you favour the Island malts. It's the only whisky not by my company that I buy if that's any indication of how highly I rate it.
