Aye, the league game was a good one. I thought I was going to get gubbed, the holy goaly had to work for his money last night.
Also, your reaction was great when you realised the goal had been scored by Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink :DD

WARNING! WARNING!

When you become your team's captain in Be A Pro mode, for God's sake don't go into the between-game menu (the one that you reach with Y from the screen that shows your next opponent and a picture of the stadium) to fiddle with your team's tactics.

If you do, players will start to disappear from your matchday squad. They'll still look like they're available in the between-game menu, but if you check on the pre-match tactics menu you'll find players replaced with crappy reserves. I lost Robert Pires and a couple of centrebacks from Villareal this way, and Kaka and Pirlo have both vanished from my Milan team.

I've never had this issue with England which is why I think the issue's related to to the pre-match tactics screen because I've not touched that for the national side (although I have changed the team around in the pre-match menu).

People have been screeching about this on the FIFA forums for at least the last three weeks, and the word is that there's a patch to fix it on the way. Till then - word to the wise, is all.

I am getting this for Xmas, and will be playing it with you after then.

I am better than Myoptika, as was proved by him taking 584367543687 attempts to score a chip, and me doing it first time even though I'd never tried before.

Aye, you know you're getting good when you score in the first 2 minutes and the other team bail out :DD

That was excellent! It definitely felt like we got better the more we played, looking forward to more of the same next week.

Same here, even the shameless running down of the clock when we were about to bag our first win of the night was cracking fun. Hopefully I'll be available at the same time next week. I will admit my passing went to crap in the last match I played, where it seemed every time I wanted to pass the ball my player was in the wrong part of an animation cycle, and I got tackled. Annoying, because that's not something which generally happens in the current FIFA.

I've been there but nah, it's at the Roundhouse.

Which team are we playing as tonight then? I'd be up for someone like Lyon or Villareal.

Ok, I've just finished my first BAP season, helping guide the Cherries to the League Two Championship. I obviously didn't impress in that friendly against China for the first team, because I've just been picked for an England A game against Norway. Hopefully my 9.8 rating in a 5-0 victory will make Capello see sense (even while he is getting flak for picking a L2 defender).

The following teams want me to sign for them next season:

Cobh Rambers (Ireland) - Captain
Bury (League 2) - Fan Favourite
Gliwice (Poland Div 1) - Fan Favourite
Ulsan (Korean League) - Squad Member
Tours FC (French Div 2) - Squad Member
Vasco de Gama (Brazil) - 1st Team Choice
FC Augsburg (German Div 2) - 1st Team Choice
Legia Warszawa (Poland Div 1) - 1st Team Choice
América (Mexico) - Reserve

They all seem pretty shit, so I think I'll stick with Bournemouth and see if I can get them into the Championship.
