Mountain dew? I like it, but it's one of the few drinks I can't drink from a glass as it just looks wrong.

I've never had it before, but purchased 3 cans.

Best served chilled one would imagine?

Man, I love cloudy lemonade, but I wish it didn't feel like it's trying to split my tongue in half and give me Harlequin Foetus Lips.

This would be imported caffeinated American Mountain Dew, yeah? I liked the decaf UK stuff, when we used to be able to get it; I imagine the US stuff, being the same but more potent, is excellent.

Try Lidl Cloudy Lemonade. Very nice and 39p for 2 litres with no sweeteners.

+ If Mimi thinks I'm spunking away my Dew at £1.27 a can on a experiment she is very much mistaken!

My counsellor tells me that a breakup like what I've been through is similar to grief, but I don't remember feeling like this when one of my best friends died from cancer a few years ago. Maybe it's because he was so ill for so long, I don't know. That seemed tremendously unfair that someone as wonderful as he should have their life taken away from them at the age of just 22, when he enjoyed life so much. I remember promising myself that I would not waste my life another second as some kind of way of honouring him.

Now I feel like I've broken that promise, because my life is a fucking mess and no mistake. At the very least, however, myself and the mother of my impending child have decided that, should the baby be a boy, we're going to name him after that friend. So I guess that's something.

Am on a train back from London with the Macbook on my knees (so everyone things I'm a wanker). However that isn't the news. The news is that I went to Cybercandy and purchased 17 quids worth of sweety goodness including Mountin Dew.

This is obviously very exciting so I had to share. Although will the cunt who said Cybercandy was in Covent Garden please stand up as blatently isn't. It's two streets away and has a tiny sign that is easy to walk past (I did). It's near Tesco Express is anyone is wanting to go, not in the main Covent Garden shops area.

Anyway I have lots of stuff but it is very expensive in there. Luckily some of it is Xmas presents.

Amusingly I think this was me and I only typed that because I could be bothered to try and spell Leicester Square.

I assumed you'd be smart enough to check the sodding site. Did you find the similar Canada/South Africa / Oz shop nearby?

Death notices for my grandpa in the Telegraph and Western Mail today. The Western Mail one appears to be online.

I'm not buying The Telegraph to see that one, though.

T minus 2 hrs 15 mins before Zio is sitting in a pub sipping a beer with Former Lady Zio for company. This will be a good thing. Tonight will be a good night. This is my mantra. I shall sit at my desk for the next 15 minutes repeating this until the positive vibes help me make it true.

Also: I have Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, which I played briefly at lunchtime. The being the first Mortal Kombat I've actually enjoyed since MKII. 'Tis wonderful, though I am yet to discover how to pull of the Joker's fatality!

I found them! I the was tucked inside the bra so they didn't be seperated!

the worst thing was that there is a homeless man who goes through the bins every day looking for - i dunno what? Anyway, i thought oh no, what if he gets my pants :( Yes, underwear is expensive Craster, but it was a treat, they are silk with nice. usually not that expensive craster, but still always far more expensive than mens underwear. Bras are so much more expensive eh ladies? i will not say how much matching bra costs it is an abomnniation. teh last bit with the word was a mis-type, goodess G - it was supposed to say 'probably', but my fingers must have been over to the right of the keys. I only had a teensy bit of baileys. It is new. flavoir of coffee. I don't like it that much so won't have any more. Have put it in the frdge with some carrot cake. nom nom.

I spent a year telling one of my friends that this was the nicest drinks combination. So one day he went out to buy some lime to have with the baileys. We told him to mix it in his mouth... the look on his face as it congealed is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

He never believed another word I said after that.

Speaking of the general direction of pants, I bought a few months ago the same design of M&S 100% cotton boxers that I've stuck with for many years. They usually last. Except these new ones are worryingly worn and shredded already. Gentle washes at 30° too. Bastards.

Back from pub with Former Lady Zio. Despite the fact that she is still very much the Former Lady Zio, I have had a wonderful night. She is awesome, the most awesome person I have ever met in my life and even if I never get back together with her, at least I will have an awesome friend and some of the happiest memories a person can have. Maybe this is the beer talking. Can you tell I've been drinking beer? I have been drinking beer.

Happy now. Will have happy sleep, I am sure of it. Can't talk about Mortal Kombat vs DC Thingamummy, Dimmers, as I am inebriated. It is good though. A jolly good laugh. Plays like the 2D Mortal Kombats, but with DC characters. DC characters rule. I'd go gay for Batman. Possibly.

Back from pub with Former Lady Zio. Despite the fact that she is still very much the Former Lady Zio, I have had a wonderful night.
