I hope you can get it fixed, but if not at least it’s something nice that’s burned in. Sir Taxalot has got just the nicest way of looking at this!

Indeed! :luv: :luv: :luv: :luv: :luv:

There are so many worse things to have stuck on a tv screen. I could have been playing some WWII game and paused it with a dirty great swastika on there.

Taiko drum controller announced for Nintendo Switch https://twitter.com/japanese3ds/status/ ... 45/photo/1

cool
Nice! Like the water bottle holders too.
Yeah the water makes it a bit more steady too probably..

do hope it's more than just this drum game (donkey kong jungle beat hd anyone?)
Do love some burger time, so was looking forward to this

sin europe a bit later alas http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/0 ... urger_time
Why are you using the European eShop.

Also Burger Time is shite.
From Lewie's post - You can basically setup a Nintendo account from any country

You can pay for stuff on those using a credit card like Revolut (which will do the various currencies and not charge you for non sterling fee's)

https://eshop-prices.com/

This website gives you the costs for anything on the eshop and will show you which ones are worth region shifting for.
Did they employ children who have been blind since birth then tie their hands behind their back and make them type code with their feet after being submerged in ice water whilst wearing thick socks to do the art for Super Burger King?
Ok, had forgotten that i could change e-shops

but now i tried

so made an american account - check

first tried to pay with PayPal -> blocks

then tried that revolut option (took 10 photos and two days( for them to recognize my id.. failed as well 'the country that is issuing your credit card is not supported).. so now trying to get my money back

any other option?

:-(

Two things - one Revolut works for most of Europe , however there are some countries it does not - there are other similar banks who do special offers for paying in different currencies , unfortunately the only others i know are again UK centric (Starling bank and Monzo) worth checking for other European banks who do something similar ?

Your other options are slightly more limited :

1) Pay with your normal credit card and incur a non-standard fee , that can eat into the savings your getting by getting the games from another region
2) Buy 'pre paid' cards for the other regions , I've done this for both the US and Canadian store (and both the US and Canadian playstation store) via these guys http://www.pcgamesupply.com/
Well revolut does work for me, (after some hassling), but the problem is that it doesn't work with the american nintendo shop ..since they won't give me an american virtual card..

I use the European eShop because it's easy! Also, Burger Time was good. Super Burger Time is not.

So Revolut is probably worthy of a thread of its own and I'll set that up in a sec and link it here but you dont need an american virtual card you can use any virtual card with your details and thats it - if you were in America you can quite happily use a non american Mastercard to pay for stuff and they charge it the same as any other.

Your only thing would be you would need some currency on Revolut to pay for it but i'm assuming you've topped that up.

Perhaps not on the thread but if you want to message me with the error you get when using it i can see if i can spot whats wrong.

Revolut and other online banking stuff thread : https://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com/ ... &sk=t&sd=a
Yes i topped it up, helpdesk say the virtual card is issued basis of your id , so probably dutch, and they are uk them selves... and that is not accepted by the american shop..
Donkey kong dlc out in june.. look fun.. (still not finished main game though, kind had forgotten about it :O )

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... ng-in-june
I've never been that into Pokemon games, but it's hard not to feel positive about the stuff in the video. Even if the first twenty seconds looks like some AR burglary app.
I was watching like “fuck your pokeball tat” until they gently rocked Pikachu in the ball and it sounded like he was sleeping. Now I’m getting it and the pokeball.
My daughter's reaction resembled that.. she first that... ah that is nothing new compared to 3ds game / pokemon go.. but the she saw you can take pickachu with you and she was she sold

yesterday evening downloaded that freetoplay Pokemon quest.. played it for 5 mins but didn't really saw the 'game' yet..
anyone playing the mario tennis demo weekend? it is quite fun, almost won a tournament.. looks worse than i expected on a big screen, but plays well,... even if ithink it is too focussed on special shots, as was the 3ds version earlier...

(waiting for a discount)
Literally, that trailer prompted me to start playing pokemon go for the first time, now each morning the walk to work seems less wasted with the plethora of pokemon to catch!
Damn mario galaxy (wii) is looking beautifully upscaled on the nvidia shield (switch like Tegra1 processor/android os/ chinese version). https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digi ... i-emulator lets hope they will bring it too the switch..amazing

played the demo of sushi striker as well.. which is fine ds-like weird puzzle game... might buy the 3ds version since it works quite better with the stylus i presume https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... -on-switch

(and will wait for sale there..sinds 50 euro's for a puzzle game...)
My tv came back yesterday with a new screen. :)

What shall I burn into this one?

This thread has gone to shit. Time to unsubscribe.
apparently Nintendo really love smashbros... thought the e3 direct was kinda boring... fire emblem (no advance wars :( ) looks nice though... and i wanted that galaxy nvidia shield port...
mario aces coming out (won't be buying it until it 's cheaper https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... or-camelot ), and toad tracker has a demo out... (if it is a bit lavish it will give me enough toad to dip in a times)
I am going to get MARIO TENNIS ACES for when my chum comes over for his annual visit, although I suspect we'll play it in Classic mode so he doesn't get annoyed by all the special moves and me breaking his racquet.

The GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT we have is that I will ceremonially purchase and install the game upon his arrival so he knows I haven't been doing any sneaky practice, and that we're both going into it as n00bs.
'There are some Mario Tennis Aces players who are pretty furious right now. Redditor Ventus55 said forcing quickfire matches on players "removes all the deep analysis you sort through when battling a tough opponent. It belittles the mental warfare you and your opponent are having as you try to outplay one another. It dispatches the adaptability of techniques you need to utilise when your opponent has figured your playstyle out. It erases the incredible comeback victories you can have after being down 90 per cent of the match. It completely shatters the rewarding feeling of fighting tooth-and-nail for 20+ minutes to come out the victor by a tiny margin. It makes for very shallow gameplay for most matches because there isn't enough time to feel like you are developing a good strategy against your opponent."'

Oh, come on.
It's not a surprise that an arcade tennis game uses the 3 game format, is it? Sega tennis was the same iirc.

Either way, it won't be as good as Pete Sampras tennis on the megadrive

It's a surprise as all previous Mario Tennis games have let you customise match lengths since the dawn of time.

I mean that guy above is obviously over-egging the pudding but it's a fair criticism.
Nice little DLC in september... two baby mario's and a 'legendary' tournament with 3 sets matches...

(although i agree games like this with sets are almost more fun, see watching darts.. )
was reading about mario tennis aces and found this weird little list, which let me to discover the mario power tennis (gc) intro.. certainly the best mario intro ever https://www.polygon.com/2017/5/12/15631 ... ros-ranked

Darius is coming to Switch.

http://www.japanesenintendo.com/post/175465812744

Price is a bit of a gushing head-wound though.

~£40 for the basic version, or £125 if you want the full package.
Weird. I was only thinking the other day that the Switch's screen would rather suit a Darius game. Not at that price though.
quitte a few mario tennis games already on the second hand market, so treated myself to one for the holidays...

125 quid for darius? ai.. they already had some rather interesting price points for the ps4.. but luckily you knew you could wait for a sale then..

As have I! That's a simple idea but nicely done.
This looks absolutely amazing And the trailer really sold me on it. I’m gonna gerrit.

I think it might be on PC an’ all. I don’t think the other consoles have got it though.

Yeah it is on PC too, but no other consoles yet.
That looks amazing! Love it!
currently playing bad north, ..nice little strategy game, although you can't restart a map when you fail, which is rather harsh https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... ing-chunks

this has been fixed now
I was in the lounge last night, surrounded by a PS4 Pro, an XBox One X, a Switch (all connected to a 55 inch telly), and a £2500 gaming PC.

I sat on the couch playing Wario Ware Gold on my 2DS.
