In terms of the main levels you could probably see the whole lot in a evening if you wanted to so I've been deliberately pacing myself with it, just doing a level or two each night and often retrying levels to rescue any that I missed first time through. But the challenges you unlock are decent and quite varied from what I've seen and the ship with all the scenes and collectable objects for them is a really nice distraction too. There's a lot in there to keep going back to. Unless some of the challenge levels prove to be too maddening for my limited patience then I can see it being my second platinum ever. The whole thing is just generally amazing.
I generally won't move onto a new level until I've found all the bots and the chameleon so that's meant taking my time a bit more.
I've played all the challenge levels that I've unlocked so far (about ten I think) and there's only one of them that I threw in the towel with. It was just a massive long string of fairly precise jumps that I could tell would just exasperate me. I don't expect that to be the only one though, I predict the difficulty of them ramping up and me bouncing off of a good few of them without getting either a silver or gold bot out of it. Without those challenge levels I'd definitely 100% it but I'm not enjoying them enough so happy to just pick and choose the ones I put effort into.
They UFO grabber and all the stuff in the ship is as polished as the rest of it but there's just not much going on once you collect stuff. If there was anything to actually accomplish within the level sets that you build then I'd be into it but, aside from looking really nice, there's no real point to it so I won't be spending much time there.
