I am very happy for you. Which is odd. Why I am I happy for you going on a plane? No idea, but I am happy you are.

This. I think I'd rather be in San Francisco than in the centre of Oxford right now....

Fuck off am I dropping three grand of my own money on plane fare :D

Can you run around, point at things and shout "Check THIS out!" To other travellets, please?
Your name is Richard Gaywood? Ha!
I have also checked in to seat 01A!

(It was on an Air Asia flight, I paid the extra so I could rebook in case my connection didn't make it. Total cost £40.)

Still, I have not checked in in person for some time. Crazy technology-forgetting/oblivious fool.

I actually squealed aloud when I did online checkin and discovered 01A was available.

Oh no - maybe taking 1A is some terrible first-class faux pas?

Cavey?

I know, right?

Any worse than being Welsh or wearing jeans and a hoodie?

It will be assumed you won lottery.

I'm on a flight to San Francisco, I'm practically overdressed. My shirt has a collar.

Ugh, "new money"
Oh, how frightfully gauche.
On plane. Holy fuck.

I want a pair...

where did you get them from?
BA first class is ok - flew out on it to Brazil last year. It's not as nice as Singapore business class. However, the first class lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 was amazeballs.
The 'Hop on Board' beer they gave out on Virgin East Coast is extremely drinkable, especially when going down from Edinburgh. They just kept giving it to me. One day I dream of being able to take a trip to Cornwall first class on so-called 'GWR'...
Hop on Board - nice pun

I flew first class once.

Wish I'd put more holes in the envelope though.

TheVision rolls pretty phat these days.
I'd wear them in first class.
I bet Jeremy Corbyn would wear them whilst wooing Julia Bradbury.
Someone's gonna get cut.

Nicely done sir.

@Doc

Awesome dude. I've never flown anywhere, business or pleasure, on anything other than dirt cheap economy :)

We went Virgin Premium Economy to DC and that was a very noticeable step up with better seating and plenty more food and drink. I'd be unlikely to ever afford first class.
Went to a mate's house for "half an hour" to "catch up" and came home two hours later drunk. Yay!
My work place has a video camera... A really good video camera as it happens and it seems that I'm the only one who knows how to use it which normally lumbers me with editing some videos of dull stuff.

Anyway, there's a local boxing club that has asked me to do a couple of videos which I thought were to do with work. It turns out they're not but that's ok because they're paying me £300 to do them!

I've mentioned this in the Switch thread but I thought it deserved it's own Yay!
Yay!

Also, just found out I passed my stats exam!
Awesome Jazzy, good work :D

We're taking the kids plus nephews to see Marvel Live in Sheffield tomorrow, so a new t-shirt was in order.

Low key, that's me.

Dammit! Missed opportunity!
Fancied taking our kids to that but I think the money would be better spent on a 3D printer for the family.

Have a 'Super' time! LOLZ

That's brilliant. I might have to get one of those. :D
We went to Marvel Live last year. It's ok*. Better than Disney on ice at least.

*The boy fucking loved it but he doesn't get a say in this.
I had a chance to go to Marvel live this year for free... But I turned it down. I was busy that week and wanted a night in doing nothing.
My younger sister has had her baby!
:D :D
Both doing well! Baby currently unnamed, although my suggestion of STORMHAMMER doesn't appear to have made the shortlist. :(

I now have 15 nieces and nephews ( I think ).

Clearly you need to suggest "Richard Gaywood" as a name
