Went out to eat at Wagamama's this afternoon. Opposite is the local bowling ally\ ticket arcade which at 3 my son already calls the light :o

So as soon as dinner was done he was off to the "light" :)

They had changed the machines around and had some new stuff including the Worlds Biggest Pacman!

My 3 year old son is shown stuck to the screen for the purpose of scale!

Not sure what it cost to play, some guys were fixing it and as soon as they finished some kids started playing, would reckon at least 50p a game though.

Found another brilliant game in there, a roller coaster sim. Was quite pricey £2 a pop but 2 people got to sit in chairs that vibrated and move. You could choose from 6 different rides.

So got on that with my family, half way through my wife had to get off as it said not suitable for pregnant ladies, she then spent the rest of the ride commenting loudly that the ride my son chose would give him nightmares.

At the end of the ride he said "again daddy" and got pissed off my my wife stepped in to prevent me shoving more coins in!

Great game as you don't have to do anything but sit there :)

It says insert £1.00! on the screen, so I'd guess £1.00

It helpfully says it on the top right, in case you missed where it says it on the top left.

I heard it's on the top right, or, if you flip the image, the top left. And vice versa

There was one of these at one of the casinos in Vegas. Turns out it's surprisingly hard to play, because the LED "pixels" are spaced just far enough apart that you have trouble focusing on what's going on.

That's weird... I looked at this last night and my firs thought was "That maze is wrong. I'd best put everyone right about it"

But I'm looking at it now, and it's correct. I'll put it down to me being tired.

Also... I did this a while back and it was great! The pound coin is for scale.

We should do that with the Cottage TV and then get the Guinness records folk around to claim the title of world's biggest Pacman

Hey, it says £1 in the corner, but it's only 2p for co-op play! Bargain!

I have learned the hard way that you should not put monitors or TVs on their side if they are not designed for it since they rely on convection to get rid of heat.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case when I was shifting it around. In any case, I was selling this TV as I had a new one so I only played with it over a weekend.

Similarly, when I was young I learnt the hard way that you shouldn't put a really strong magnet on the side of a TV. All the colours wooshed to one side! It was quite something.

Same thing happens when you tilt it if you're watching snooker
