I invited Pinot as he probably isn't up to much and needs cheering up.
How could he possibly refuse?
He doesn't like Cras

Oh my god I love this place.
Although I think Mali misspelt Thibault.

Really? I would get that wrong?
I think it's spelled "PINOT!"
Ah, so it seems it's Pinot's parents who can't spell, not you.

He's not declined yet.
So how much do I owe you Curio? Would you like to PM me some details?
Based on current confirmed attendees (21 people, including MrsA): we'd have to pay an extra £19.50 per person to cover the second cottage. Also, we'd exactly fill each room, with no-one sharing. TheVision is the 22nd person, so he gets the second bed in one of the twin rooms on the one night he's staying over.

Obviously there's still lots of room for more people, though, so more people should come.

Here's how the floor plan looks:

And here's a cost-per-person calculator:

What if the cottage master has changed the allocation of beds in the rooms this year? ;)

Oh, except for Grim... and Cras. My model always assumes they will be sharing Bromance HQ.

Then I'll get to spend a happy few minutes rebuilding my spreadsheet!

FTFY.
More importantly, when are we playing D&D?

FTFY.

Dudley doesn't get a lot of romance out of this arrangement.
I keep on hearing the mystery voice from the 'Weakest Link' whenever I read the Doc's updates.

We all drink a lot of wine, dude.
I'd really like cottage two room six if possible. Far enough away for me to sleep and a desk too.
I just want a bed :)

As close to a shower as possible, as I might run Saturday morning and won't want to disturb anyone

It's like Reverse American High School, where the nerdy boardgamers are the normal folk and the jocks out for an early morning jog are the fucking weirdos.

You get twenty minutes, then we release the hounds.

Come to parkrun! Haven't decided which - the closest, probably - looks like Markeaton is nearby. And I've not done that one (essential criterion).

Thanks for sorting that, Curio. It's good to know we have the second cottage as if means Russell and I feel a bit more able to attend now. As we will definitely have the baby with us I think we will try to get in the smaller of the cottages, away from the greater of the noise, on whichever floor has the fewest bedrooms (hopefully to both lessen disturbance to baby's sleep but also so that there are as few other guests affected as possible in case Darwin does wake up and cry in the night).

IN

I need a room to myself though. I'll have whichever one Cras would have had, and he can sleep in the car.

Curio - how do I give you cashmonies?

*Packs Port and cheese*

Whoop! :DD

Rich! I thought I might fancy a glass of port last night, so into the shopping basket it went. Then, I recalled the conversation we had last cottage, and put it back on the shelf. I got home and opened the cupboard and counted 4 3/4 full bottles. I might have to tip them down the sink so the cycle can restart.

If this is actually directed at me, I have no idea what conversation this was.

I can help you with this.
6 weeks and one day to go!

People who have not paid should pay!

People who were thinking of coming should come!

Obvious title.

We need some sort of recruitment video. Maybe we should make one this year.
Sorry, I need to pay. Any chance I can paypal you?
MrChris wrote:

No.

Bank transfer much preferred, as my PayPal is basically lost to the mists of time and their appalling security system.

you suck. This means I'll have to ask Mrs K to do it.
No, I just don't bother with online access to our bank account - I lost my access keycard thing and Mrs K does it on the odd occasion it's needed (paying for builders or whatever). To be honest I haven't bothered checking what's in our bank account or looking at a bank statement for quite a few years now.

You rich bastard. I've been checking mine every day this week in case I go over my overdraft limit and get charged for it like last month
:(

You already have my bank details so you can delegate the task.
