Today has been shit.
Take the positives out of today, they could have terminated your employment, its an easy get out for companies to do this at probation meetings.
They didn't, the message here is that they like you and what you have done to date, but there are one or two things that you can do a bit better or maybe not at all.
I don't know the context of the email you sent, but I would guess if you had sent something like that in 6 months time they wouldn't have been much issue, at this point you are new and they have a platform in the probation process so have raised it.
