Bodies! Bodies everywhere!

Cras is dead! He's got a bullet lodged in his skull, and there's a half-smoked cigar nearby. Cras was just a soldier.

Flis is also dead! She's been shot in the back of the head (er... like Cylons do, you somehow recognise), and her dead body is laying on top of Kovacs. He's looking in a bad way - he's been stabbed 117 times and there's a note:
Quote:
Too quiet too quiet to quiet quiet shhh ssshhh
Who can we trust I dont know they all look the same.
shifty quiet ones they sleep and sneak
And they must die first! i can hear them breathing where
are they this ship has to many shadows

Kov was a Curious Soldier, and Flis was a Psycho Soldier!

Day 2 will end at midday on Thursday. Go!
With 12 players alive, 7 votes are required for a lynch, and 7 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

You're a soldier on board the Galactica, trying to work out who the cylons are, but you also work in the security room.

Each night, you can PM me the name of a player and sneak out of your room to review the security logs in secret, and see what you can find out about another person on board.

You are a soldier on board Galactica. You're also a fucking nutbar.

Each night, you must PM me the name of someone you want to kill with your giant stabby knife (you can't take a night off from being a psycho). If you fail to send a name before the night times out, a name will be chosen for you at random from all the players still in the game (including yourself). Nights will last for at least 24 hours though, so you'll never be in a hurry.

You basically want to kill everyone, and then fly Galactica into the sun.
User avatar
Bugger.
User avatar
Though I suppose losing the psycho soldier isn't too bad.
User avatar
What's your reading there then? The cylon's killed flis? I don't know who smokes a cigar, but perhaps some sort of pro-soldiers vigilante who got Cras, and then a modkill type thing for Kovacs for not playing.
User avatar
Oh no hang on, the psycho soldier had a big stabby knife, so flis must have killed kovacs.

So we have two further people who can kill overnight.
User avatar
So yeah, I reckon one kill from the Cylons, and one kill from a pro-Soldier vigilante who's trying to find Cylons.
User avatar
Mr Russell wrote:

Makes sense.

If the curious soldier was our only source of information then we're in trouble.
User avatar
OK, I looked up someone who smokes cigars, and it looks like there might be a pilot called Starbuck, who was a man once, and is now a woman. Battlestar galactica wikis are confusing.

Not as confusing as some of the fifth season plot.

Frack! A lot of death.

Although 1 of 3 overnight deaths should have been stopped by getting rid of the psycho we still need to consider 2 kills in a night which means if we pick wrongly today we're down to 9 tomorrow and basically the end on the next day.

I'd like to hear from Curio , why does he think he was specifically called out to be spared on the first night ?

Two kill roles, both bullets to the back of the head.

One killer, two kills?

One with a cigar, one without though.

Almost certainly the cylons have a kill, and I have researched someone with a cigar called Starbuck.

I genuinely think it's because I always die on the first day/night, due to having acquired something of a reputation for treachery. As in, it was a meta-rule rather than a character one, if I'm allowed to say that.

As for the day now... I got nothing.

I suppose we can look at who were arguing for deaths, and who the dead people want strung up.

Does this person like coffee? Or Moby Dick?

With 12 left and 2 town down and the SK gone...how many cylons do we think there are?

That makes no sense! Curio wanted to kill a human yesterday, which is suss, so we can lynch him today as my sound reasoning suggests he's more likely to be bad then good. That, and he got a bye yesterday and last night, so voting for me is a terrible idea

I assume thats supposed to be a Z , and why would you say that - i voted for him yesterday - however today i'm voting for Malia
User avatar
Just the way you stepped in to defend him by voting for malia, the way you voted for him on a day he couldn't be lynched, then use that as a reason why you couldn't possibly be on the same side.

All seems rather scummy to me.

Seems a reasonable line of thinking.

I voted for him yesterday , I have not voted for him today because your actions make you seem scummier - I was not defending Curio rather attacking you.

And Bobby , is what you've just done for Malia (stepping in to divert attention away from a vote for him) just exactly what you've accused me of ?

Please insert the next paragraph of your choice from :

# Bobby and Malia are scummy cylons and working together
# Bobby and Curio are scummy cylons and working together
# Bobby , Malia , Zaphod are all 'talking' and making a lot of noise so the real cylons are safe to keep killing

The following people voted to lynch someone who was later confirmed to be a human :

"saturnalian: 9 (Mr Russell, Curiosity, DavPaz, Lonewolves, MaliA, Cras, TheVision, zaphod79, Cookie197)"

The following people never even bothered to vote :

(bobbyaro, goddess jasmine, joans, kovacsc, morte, saturnalian)

Your 'sound' reasoning for voting for Curio (viewtopic.php?p=903483#p903483) is that he voted to kill a human , why Curio out of that list ?

Right, but what did we learn from that? Sat was a silent player.

We learned that those people are either willing to take a risk , or are baddies who were happily voting for someone that was not them.

Its hard to say without knowing overall numbers but there is at least one baddie in the list above , because if you were a baddie why not vote to get rid of someone who is not on your team.

If there are 2 cylons then there is at least one in that list
If there are 3+ cylons then there is probably 2 in that list.

Overall numbers with SK's and whatever else i think we probably have 3 cylons , so from that we probably have 2 in there - its as good a starting point as any.
User avatar
Also for the other side

Depending on overall numbers - its likely that not all Cylons would vote for the same person which would mean there is probably 1 cylon in the group of :

(bobbyaro, goddess jasmine, joans, morte,)

Day one - so they *might* all have voted for Sat, but again if there are 3 (or more) then you will probably have one in the group of 4 above.

I rarely vote on day 1, but let us not enter into that conversation again.

Zaphod, your continual, "I voted for curio on the day he couldn't get lynched so therefore I am good and not on his side," argument doesn't really carry much water.

Why does it need to carry water ?

What are your reasons for voting for him ?

Oh and 'continual'

User avatar
Why are people voting for me? Because I was immune on Day One? Or because of Mali's silly 'Kill Curio whatever' crusade?

To be fair, I do agree that Zaphod's actions do look suspicious if he was protecting me, but I'm just a soldier, so unless he has reasons that I don't know about, I'd say he just thinks other people are more suspicious.

Still way too many people participating on the fringes or barely at all...

It's Kill Curio The Thing Endangering Us All. Not Kill Curio Whatever.

You wanted Sat dead right from the off. he turned out to be a human. Then you wanted Cras dead. He turned out to be human. Probably having a good laugh about your immunity with your scummy mates now.

Let's see if your mind is made of meat!
