You'll note some party names are still missing. This is due to some of the right honourable members being idiots.
Ejected members:

...and whilst I would commend my honorable friend for his resignation which has led to this surprise election, Saturnien's sticking of a post it not to the Duke of Edinburgh's back which said "Kick me" wasn't the best way to bring it about.
That's sorta amoosing cause Grim... wanted to call the party "Grim... can't spell Satunalan"?
I second that motion, Salertanin.
Why are members talking in public? There should be a sanction for such a flagrant breach of electoral rules.

Impossible to control i'm afraid.

Just take one vote off for each post.
What rules have been broken, Speaker?
Read the first post in Day One you ninny

Oh yeah, I see it now.
The right honourable member for the BIG HEAD PARTY, has put forward the motion that the wording of the policy is such that they do not need to deliver on the manifesto pledge unless they win the whole game.
What does the house think?
We have to win the whole game before we go through with actually implementing our policy. Please see the wording: "if elected". Currently this is just a manifesto pledge.

Ah, a lib dem move!
Making popularist promise is the work of charlatans and fakirs, sir!
Prepare the food and the cameras!
Mr Speaker, the right honourable gentleman has not read the careful wording of our policy - maybe he should be given the opportunity to claim new spectacles on expenses.
I look forward to everyone voting for the rest of our policies so we have to see this through once elected.

Mr Speaker, my friend never had any intention of seeing his policy through and is playing to the crowd. Such failure to follow through must result in sanctions lest the public be charmed, then disappointed through the conniving use of words.
It was all very clear, he is just choosing to ignore the facts for his own personal gain, Mr Speaker.

Hear hear!
This is absolute nonense, Madame Speaker.
They promised the sandwiches; they must deliver or resign!
Mr Speaker, my learned friend will get his sandwiches, as promised upon The BHP's election.

The BHP should get their just desserts for such chicanery!
Literally no idea what's happening here.
[vote: Malc]
It is with some displeasure that I must agree with the members for the BHP and concur that the policy is vague enough that it could be read as at the end of the election process. Barring any subsequent policy enactments that force them to do it early, we will have to wait to see if they win.

Following the recent news stories regarding his sexual predilections involving whelks, badgers and the occasional sea bird. Cras has taken the hard decision to no longer stand for office in the forthcoming elections.
When should be submit our next policies, Mrs Speaker?

By the end of tomorrow please.
I'll bet Cras and Bobby are glad they didn't win...
Myp : "Today, I'm going to not kiss Grim... while fondling his ball sack."
Bobby : "Damn it"
Cras: "Pft, I do that anyway"
Myp never kisses me while he's fondling my balls

Onwards! To Government!
DavPaz
I'm going out tonight, so I'll come up with a quality drunken policy.
Malc
Hahaha, we are too awesome.
Malc/Myp
Oh dear, clearly I am the Green Party here.
Malc style.
How did he get past the doormen? Somebody kick him out.
I'm going to sack this unless anyone has an great objection. The lack of posting and lack of policies being sent through shows that people are as bored with this as I am I think
The idea was much better than the reality
BOOO! Down with democracy!
Thank Christ I never have to eat that sandwich.
There will be anarchy. Let's hope this does not foretell what may happen in May.
I think the idea was a good one, Trooper. I think, though, to keep the non-players interested enough to vote and participate as the 'public' would have needed some kind of reward, like the carrying out of some policy pledges. I understand the slimy wording bit was part of some people's game plan, which is fine to play, but forced me to completely lose interest quickly when I could see that I was reading and voting for things that (at least a few) people had no interest/intention in doing. I think if the results had been more fun for the voters it could have been a good hit.
Great initial idea and effort though

Look at the day 1 thread - despite the fact that there were only 10 'players' there were 22 votes - i think there was the chance for it to take off - it just didnt :-(

It was never going to be high in posting, the game was always going to be about the policy choice.
So when the first one was then ignored, and the second one also ignored (or in my case just stopped me posting due to not wanting to sign my name), it was a bit of an issue. Combine with the length, and it becomes hard to think of that many interesting policies - would've been better to remove the entire party with each loss.
I'd elect the bhp based on their two victories and require them to eat that sandwich.
