Happy Christmas everyone, just off to the hospital with my son, he has a red ear with a lot wax in it.

He has been pointing at it for a couple of days and father of the year only thought to look at it this morning

We haven't opened anything yet, we're waiting for Chloe to arrive. Although I have just had a call off my eldest telling me that while he was over here having lunch, some lovely person or people have tried to break into his house smashing a glass panel in the back door. Thankfully they didn't actually gain access.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone. Possibly the strangest Christmas ever in the Warhead household. We had the usual Birthday Buffet (TM) for my daughter on Christmas Eve and didn't get to bed until 5am, so no one was up before about 10.30 on Christmas Day.

Fairly relaxed yesterday as we went out for dinner, so there was no cooking for Mrs. W and no washing up for me. Dinner was only average, but the lack of effort for us outweighed that. I'm typing this on Mrs. W's Chromebook, wot I bought her for Christmas and which she hasn't had a go on yet. Quite impressed with it. My most unexpected pressie was a coffee grinder and a small packet of Blue Mountain beans. Almost too scared to use them, as they were £20 for a tiny packet!!

There was just the two of us for dinner yesterday, so we went for a very nice curry for a change.
Obviously couldn't miss out on Christmas dinner, so we had that today and I'm sat here slowly expanding, being full of turkey.

Very pleased with my haul this year (no tangerines).

Got myself some hiking socks, a new fleece, a T-shirt with a dinosaur on it, the XKCD 'What if' book, some other books (Graves' 'Claudius the God' and one on Afghanistan & Iraq), and a board game ('Colt Express' - train robbing in the old West with a board that's a 3D model of a train).

So that was Christmas.
