maybe, although partly for the free other game.

So it depends on how expensive mh3 / wonderful 102 are.

Zedohemgee. I want a WiiU and Mariokart so bad, but somehow weddings gare really spendy, so it looks pretty unlikely until a good deal of time after the costs have stopped making me wince.

Our wedding list mostly has things like lampshades and knives and forks on it, but I put one on as the dream item and it will help remind me what to sent to Father Christmas on my wish list at the end of the year if not :)

Preordered! God knows, I need something to play on my Wii U again since I completed Super Mario 3D World. It's depressing how quickly the software releases have dried up. :(

This was a definite. But the free game, makes it a day one purchase.

Problem is as the WiiU has no games, I really don't know which of the excellent free games I want. I've got 3 of them and I want 4 (pikmin, zelda, wonderful 101, Game and Wario)...

Awww, that is surprisingly heartfelt.

(whilst maintaining far too many intricate details about mariokart for a mainstream tv show. But then I guess, MKWii did sell 30m copies.)

Day one with Zelda as the freebie. I've already got Mario, Pikmin and W101.

Is there going to be any Bezziage with this? I could be tempted if so.

See my DayZ response: Could be interested if voice chat is sorted.

Multiplayer games without voice (Dark souls/journey aside) are not as much fun.

Video game players are familiar with the law of diminishing returns. Even as new entries in a series tirelessly improve upon their predecessors, our interest nevertheless wanes; with games, improved is somehow less exciting than new. Mario Kart 8 is a rare thing, then: the best entry in a series and the most exciting yet.

Oh GOD I want it so bad.

I almost bought a PS4 yesterday for cheapies but realised I am just going to be playing MK8 for the foreseeable so why spend that cash right now.

2 weeks is too long. Far too long.

I'm preposterously excited. I'm really interested to how it will do as a system seller. Especially after the reviews have been so favourable. MarioKart Wii did sell 30million copies after all.

Super Mario 3D World (which I'm not playing properly until after Dark Souls 2) and NSMBU (Which i've completed) are incredible games, but they've been wrongly dismissed as lazy sequels (NSMBU is the best 2D mario ever - which I stand by) so they haven't driven sales (a huge shame). But MarioKart 8 looks new, and I think that will help.

Also: I hear rumours that toadette* is back. Which I care far too much about.

* Toadette, of course, was the greatest character to play in double dash, which is itself the best MarioKart..... but will it keep it's crown?

Why it will the worst selling one yet. Some doom and gloom (but probably at least partly true) http://www.polygon.com/2014/5/15/571816 ... ries-sales
