Like a proper muppet, i have dropped my iphone. Screen has spider webbed.

How easy is it to fix and can any recommend a kit, or am I best to take it to phone shop? What am i expected to pay for either...

Almost impossible to fix just the screen yourself, as the screen and the digitiser are bonded together.
You can get a replacement screen and digitiser as one unit, but last time I looked they were £130ish, IIRC...

Blimey, those have come down in price since last year! Yeah, that's the thing.

Sounds like Trooper's the man to ask. Send it to him for £2 a month.

I've only done one screen swap on a 4s (and it worked just fine) but it took about an hour of patient work. By contrast I could do just about any parts on a 3GS in ten minutes so it's a bit of a pig of a job.
