Beex, Yo.
Welcome to CapitalistScum!
The aim of the game is simple, he who dies with the most money, wins.
There are two factions in play, the Town and the Mafia.
The primary goal of the game is that when the game ends, your faction has more money in total than the opposing faction.
The secondary goal is that each individual is competing for themselves, the person with the most money at the end will win the individual competition.
Everyone starts with £100.
Each day, you vote for the person you would like to lynch.
Each night, you have each have three options.
1) Make money. Choosing this option will add £100 to your personal total.
2) Steal money. Choosing this option will steal 50% of of the money from a designated player.
3) Donate money. Choosing this option will gift a designated player with an amount of your choosing.
In addition to the this, the Mafia faction have the additional collective night action of:
4) Kill player. Does what it say on the tin.
The Mafia can also talk to each other in private.
The game will end when either the Mafia outnumber the Town, or the Mafia are all dead.
The night actions work in the order of Donate, Receive Donation, Make, Steal, Kill.
If multiple people target the same player for stealing, then the first two people who sent in their night action will get 50% each. The rest will get nothing.
If the mafia outnumber the town but have less money, they will lose.
If someone dies, their money does not count to the faction total, it only counts for the individual competition.
Questions?
If the mafia outnumber the town but the town has more money, do they lose?
If the mafia kill someone, do they get their money?

Yes.

No. That person's money is their final total for the individual competition, but that money does not count towards the faction total.
1) Assume there are secret roles?
2) Seems hard for the Mafia, depending on numbers, I guess.
3) why would you donate money, unless #1 is in play?
1) there are no secret roles
2) We'll see, I have no idea how balanced this will turn out to be! Note that the mafia kill action is in addition to their personal actions.
3) Why indeed
Seriously, there are no secret roles
I'm sure you can work out why you might want to donate... The person you donate to cannot refuse the donation.
Are the amounts public, either individually or per faction?
The individual amounts will be public, the faction totals won't be.

Oh yeah, course.
[edit]But if it's that way around, I have no idea why you'd want to donate money. I guess we'll figure it out

I can think of a way if I was a Mafia, but it would still be a gamble. Not sure about why a Townie would, but maybe we'll figure it out.
Actually, have thought of a way it might work, but will leave discussion of that to the game thread.

So the person targeted ends up with 0% , or the first two people targeting get 25% of the total each (leaving the person who was targeted with 50%)

The person targeted ends up with 0%.
Where does 'receive donations' come in the night order?

Right after donate.
Would you know who the donation was from?

Nope.
