A BEEXer shared a house with one of my brother's school friends. Said friend's sister works at the same university as me, hundreds of miles away from our home town.

It's not all good the other way around either - I've got to be careful I don't dick about on here too much in case you rat me out :P

That works, annoyingly it only downloads the bloomberg titles & not the report.

I suppose I should've checked the video before I said it worked...

I suppose failing that, I'd just plump for a screen capture tool.

Thinking of small worlds, a friend and I both had a letter published in the same edition of kids' newspaper 'The Early Times' back when I was 10 and he must have been 8. We only realised this years after both of us had grown up as politics nerds, done the same degree, and been in the same club at uni. And yes, both of us are embarrassed by what we wrote.

88% :S

Pissed off that Zoe Salmon wasn't a recent enough Blue Peter presenter. It was only 2008!

I guessed a couple, though.

I still use Zune on my PC so yes it does. I think it's been replaced by Xbox music so I don't know how long it's got left though.

Linked to in that article:
http://www.thisisoxfordshire.co.uk/news ... ng/?ref=ar
Quote:
CUSTOMERS have branded a new pay and display meter in a pub car park “ridiculous.”

Bill Porter, manager of the White Horse in Headington, said it has been set up to deter commuters and people from Oxford Brookes University using it as a place to leave their cars.

But some customers disagree with the decision to charge.

David Charlett, 35, of Dene Road, said: “I never heard anything about it until I saw the sign. It’s ridiculous and wrong.”

The pub now charges people £2 for two hours, £4 for four hours and £8 for 24 hours on weekdays.

If customers spend £5 or more in the pub, they are refunded £2 for their parking ticket. The meter began operating on August 22.

Colin Taylor, 57, of Valencia Road, said: “You have to pay £5 in the pub to get your parking money back and that’s not right. I can see why they want to do it as students park here all the time.

Mr Porter, 31, who has been manager at the pub for just under a year, defended the move.

There are 62 spaces in the car park, which Mr Porter said filled up quickly during term time.

He said: “As soon as Brookes opens again it is hard for our customers to find a parking space.

When Brookes is open, all the spaces in the car park have gone by 8 in the morning.

Parking is a major issue in Headington with hospitals and university campuses.

Andrea Ansell from Oxford Brookes University said it asks people not to use cars.

She said: “Oxford Brookes strongly encourages staff, students and visitors to use forms of transport other than the car.”

The pub is a Hungry Horse house owned by Greene King.

A spokesperson said local people know that parking is tricky.

He said: “To ensure customers are able to park, we have introduced pay and display. Customers using the car park will get a full refund on parking costs.

This sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

It does. So reasonable that you must be really quite bored to have gone to the effort of quoting it and putting bits in bold.

Is there any way to know what they've changed since the GM build? Or even whether the public build is at all different from the GM?

So they don't even expose version numbers or anything so you know if they're different? Or are you saying the public release and GM are always different and you just never know what exactly's been updated?

There was no version number rev between GM and public release for iOS6. There absolutely were key, vital, app-breaking changes between GM and release - that there was no way of knowing about until after it was out there on devices. Utterly shocking release behaviour.

For iOS7? We're not going to know until it hits.
