Bloody hell! What a week that was, eh? Another seven sunsets have passed since the simply fantastic edition last week. One that I've no real chance of topping. As the blackberry season reaches its tearful climax, I'm maliA, your host for this week's BeeXWeex and I'll be recycling other people's old material in an attempt to make this worth your time, and mine for writing it. I'm that good to you, friends, that good indeed.
One of the unique things about being up in The North is the differences in the way people dress. You can never, ever be the worst dressed person in a room up here. I've agressively tested this hypothesis, once turning up to work wearing jeans, hawaiian shirt, tweed jacket and cowboy boots and still was comfortably in the upper percentile of the sartorial world. Sheer tops are the big thing here at present (Fridays are dress down days), soemthing I thought went out with the ark. maybe next year we'll get new romantics. A ha! you say, but what of you? Well, today it's jeans (ASDA, £9), trainers (Vans, red, waffle soles) and a Captain America t-shirt. Other things are noticeable, too. many people turn a muddy orange colour at this time of the year and bright red, too. Still, my mission continues and I will tend to the flock as ebst I can. Next week, I'm going to teach them that it is acceptable to use the front door when entering a house. Speaking of whichk less than 4 weeks until I move. Hurrah! Took a long time coming, did that, and I'm going to be put straight to work removing fitted wardobes and painting things. Boo! It's probably punishment for my coming home drunk last night and falling through the exercise bike in a misguided effort to get to the bathroom. But enough of my domestic arrangements.
E3 has been going on and
we're pretty much all decided that we could run a multinational company selliong entertainment better than anyone else. On the other foot, the
PS4 looks superb and we'll all be buying that. So, talk about games and there's
The Last of Us but we're over
the Division and
Animal Crossing is out on the 3DS. There is talk of a
Warhammer 4Ok MM0 which could be WARGH!!DAKKDAKKADAKKA or it could be a damp squib. Ask us? We dunno either.
MIRROR'S EDGE, TOO!. The London Clique went to a
self service pub but didn't book a table and had to sit in the rain.
And here we are at the part of the week where you lean forward on your sofa as a rotund man in a poorly fitting sports jacket reads out the noms. But as Curio isn't about, I'll do it.
