If you didn't have such an oversized phone you could have had it. Coz I found it on the interwebs somewhere else. But it doesn't fit SILLY BIG PHONES.

Bah. That's the problem with 400-year old portrait artists. They just don't take phone diversification into account.

I've been living and working abroad for the last 2 and a half years, earning roughly minimum wage in the countries I've been in. Transferred over to sterling this is probably over the "threshold" for repayment, I'm on just under $40k a year in the job I'm in, but I've got sod all disposable income as it's more expensive here! I doubt that they'll take that into consideration.

Also I should add, I haven't actually paid any of it off yet. That's probably why they are chasing me.

If you don't defer every year, won't they chase you automatically?

I called them and since I'm leaving my job soon I'm technically unemployed for their purposes so it defers another 12 months. Phew!

I think the system changed in 1998, and the loans only get repaid when you are working, not as a DD or somesuch.

There's a concept of economic 'bands' such that each country is assigned to a specific band and the band brings with it a repayment threshold (i.e. the converted amount in sterling you need to be earning before you qualify for repayment). I can't remember exactly how it's decided which band a country belongs in but it's an attempt to into account how 'expensive' each country is to live in when deciding who repays and who doesn't. I don't know how effective it is mind you, but at least they try.

ETA: Ah, here it is.

What have you tried?

There's:
http://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com
http://www.fullonrobotchubby.co.uk/excellent
http://www.mosttriumphant.co.uk/assist_me (which appears to be broken)
http://www.man-the-fuck-up.co.uk (which is just a forwarder and won't help)

I'll make a couple more for you.

Alright, these all redirect to beexcellenttoeachother.com because PHPBB is silly and demands that you only use one domain name. I'll kick it around a bit in the morning.

In the meantime, these are here so I remember what they are:

hello.hsmx.com
contact.aimforthecatdude.co.uk
happy.beexbeque.co.uk
place.bipbipbip.co.uk
dance.manracing.co.uk
help.mattbuildsatomcat.co.uk
bx.statiophonicoxygeneticamplifiergraphaphonadelaverberator.co.uk

More news, in case you are interested. The DoJ have admitted they were pushing for jail based on a manifesto that Aaron worked on years ago, that was published online and wasn't directly related to his case. Be careful what you write on the internet people...

Sinus infection has returned in some force. Off work yesterday and spent 20/24 hours in bed. Can barely function some of the time. Referred to specialist again with potential surgery on the horizon.

What particularly sucks is that after nearly 23 months of being parents, the wife and I had booked a table at a nice restaurant and got a babysitter sorted for the first time, and we've had to cancel.

I R Sad.

I'm surprisingly alright about it, to be honest. It's weird. I love her and I'm gutted it's happened, but whereas with other breakups I've always felt "well, I shouldn't have said that" and "I shouldn't have done this" and blamed myself for what's happened, in this instance I actually feel 100% justified in calling it a day. I'm not saying I'm perfect, I'm most certainly not, but all the same. And maybe we'll sort it out, but I dunno.

Essentially, without reeling off the entire saga, she's been having issues with Zioette. When we started dating, things were very different and she seemed to love spending time with my little girl and seemed quite proud showing off her adopted family unit to her family and friends. But for several months now things have been going down hill and her relationship with my daughter has been getting more and more sour. After a couple of major bust-ups regarding her crappy attitude with my daughter, she promised me she'd make more of an effort this weekend. What she actually did was totally surpass herself in her ridiculous efforts to somehow get one over a 3 year old girl. We didn't even fight, I just told her enough was enough and left. I'm not having people say some of the shit she said about my daughter, it's the one thing I won't put up with.
