See today that the Groupon CEO has been kicked out due to losses and bad performance

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21634134.

They are saying that the offers are not attractive to users anymore, and that their core business model can’t really be copyrighted and better companies can and have just copy their ideas.

I’ve used it for a few things, a pasta making course, some vouchers for food sites that were 50% off etc

I do find that most of the offers are not really that great these days

Anybody used them heavily these days??

I signed up, saw nothing I wanted, and never looked again. They've never emailed me though.

Use it all the time, along with the equivalent sites. Usually for meals, got about 5 queued up.

I thought they would have made loads, people seem to buy things and then not be arsed to turn up to them because they were cheap.

I'm off for 3 nights in Rome due to groupon. I don't really think it was that discounted, just well marketed at the misses.

I've been on a few meals due to it though.
