Dear 'guy afraid of fights': Don't jump into the middle of a 3 way pub brawl when one guy is holding a smashed bottle. In future they won't be actors and you will get stabbed in the neck.
I watched about an hour of last night's special before getting bored and switching over. The opening stunt and the audition clips were fun, but the scenario got more and more unbelieveable and I just wasn't in the mood. I was also annoyed by the repeated reminders of how long to go before the money shot.
I'll probably get round to watching the final half-hour later in the week.
I didn't watch this but there was some really strong stuff in my FB feed last night about poor Chris and how cruel he was to him. What on earth did he make him do??

So he regrew his backbone and didn't do the push, unlike the three other people we were introduced to. FIVE SENTENCES TO THE END OF THIS POST. These bits didn't work very well for me because whilst we saw them push the guy off, we hadn't built up an emotional connection with them so it was just like watching a Youtube clip of a cat falling off a television. FOUR THREE SENTENCES TO THE END OF THIS POST. The interviews with everyone at the end were far too short to be of use.
Seeing the actor meet his life-like replica corpse was pretty creepy.
TWO SENTENCES TO THE END OF THE POST
I still felt sorry for Chris but pleased he was able to avoid the peer pressure at the end. The whole 'almost time for the push' stuff that flashed up throughout was just annoying.
