If it involves booking tables in Manchester then arguably you've already left it too late.
User avatar
Depends on when the dates are - are you sure nearly 12 months would be enough time to get things planned ?

Also, should surely be Cottage: Resurrection, for all you Whedon-y types.
October is too long. We should totaly get together and have fun in April.

Thats already the sub-heading (although I often miss them)

Totally impractical and a silly amount of money but this is as good a place to post as any :

Damn, that place is lovely. A bit of a different category from the cottage in Derby though :)
User avatar
The place in Scotland that is owned by the owners of the Derby Cottage is this:

Same carpet and everything!
User avatar
How much is it?
User avatar
£1500 for three nights.
That seems... Doable.
User avatar
Only room for 16-22 though. I imagine Derby would have been much the same price if we'd only taken the larger cottage.
User avatar
Aside from pretty much ruling me out in distance terms, whats the advantage?
User avatar
Funzies.
User avatar
Yes... You can see the difference in the properties though, right?

Look at all those tables for games of One! :D

Don't you dare! That's when my next exam is!

Also; sauna!

Although, I do agree, it's not central enough to allow everyone equal opportunity to get there, look at what Malc went through to get to Derby...

So, Curio, got any dates in mind yet? ;)
User avatar
There's always the traditionally ignored Spring meet in the North West to look forward to.
User avatar
Will you be organising one this year?
User avatar
Maybe. Haven't really thought about it yet

*stamps foot petulantly*
User avatar
The date I have in mind is the same effing weekend we have it on every year.
User avatar
I'd like it to be in France. By the sea. Please.
User avatar
That place in scotland looks like it's 3 appartments in 1 and that it sleeps 50-58 people if you book all three!

I imagine you would want to go earlier in the year than October mind, and it might cost a lot to book all 3!

Same procedure as every year, James.

11th - 14th?

*gets annual leave form out*
User avatar
Yep!
User avatar
Excellent. This (next) year Joans and I are being sensible, and booking the whole week afterwards off! :D

April would probably work for me.

Unless your exam's on 30 April, we can do it after your exam, and have a good reason to drink wine!

Squee! Won't get the exam date for a couple of months though. :(
User avatar
Then I vote we plan the SpringBeex around that!
User avatar
That's for the Northern types to organise
User avatar
We should do it in Devon.
User avatar
Or the West Midlands.
User avatar
Mr Russell wrote:

Noooo. No. I'm not sure that would work. I seem to remember a beex map that showed the centre of our distribution being somewhere near Devon. Or wherever it was I wanted to meet up that week.
User avatar
Subtitle should be "Cott4ge Harder".

Oxford. Greatest city in the world.

There is some crash space at Kern Hall, or plenty of b&bs, hotels, and hostels to suit every budget. Or even rooms in colleges if it's out of term time.
