Still not listened to this at home.

I listened to it at home. It's slightly off. :attitude:

I got an email that it's available for preorder. Have you managed to listen to it yet then? I was thinking of getting the 3xLP, but need a digital copy too, as well really.

I've not listened. I got sent the mp3 pack, but I'm waiting for the CD and that hi-res goodness. The last one was pretty immaculately produced, so I wanna get the fullness as much as possible.

And, sadly, I doubt the PR people will send me the vinyl ;)
Russell is taking me to see Jonathan Coulton. Really looking forward to it :D
I have discovered that I really like Professor Green today.
In the library, with a lead pipe?

I'm humorless, today. Any other day, I might have nommed it for PotW, but not today.

I'm not convinced the humour problem can be pinned on you in that little exchange.

Oh Gong, I've not heard you for ages! :luv:
Doo doo da doo duh.
How has it taken me this long to discover Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea? It's brilliant. Been listening to it semi-regularly for about a month now and it gets better with each listen.

You were too busy insulting people with Asperger's, I guess.
Asperger's is the cancer of the forum.
Yep, Botanist are awesome. Love em. Unique "band"!
Soundcloud deleted all these off the fella's page, but they're still linked from google's cache. Enjoy the nostalgia trip while you can.

Join Gummy Soul's Amerigo Gazaway as he embarks on a 55 minute "Quest to The Pharcyde". Utilizing the original Jazz, Soul and Funk recordings sampled throughout A Tribe Called Quest’s extensive catalogue, Gazaway recreates classic productions – pairing his reinterpreted instrumentals with select vocals from West Coast “golden era” favorites, The Pharcyde.

Probably metul, but of wider interest. Metallica now own all their recording masters, including videos. Sounds pretty good.
Them that like Beck might check out the last 3 minutes of today's 'Today'.

I heard that. What an interesting concept! http://www.songreader.net has a load of Youtube videos that people have uploaded of his songs.
Nothing Else Matters, auto-tuned to a major scale. So bizarre.

Mars Volta are no more...shame I liked their proggy styled noisy noodlings and nonsense.

I thought I did. Then I realised I didn't even hear their last two albums. And heard the one before that once.

Their début was and is absolutely amazing, though.

Feexed.
Christ, they've done a bloody good job on that.
He appears to be singing into a jaffa cake.

Thanks for the feex. What went wrong?
Slightly silly old school punk I've just finished mixing from a mostly live recording.

Really liked that.
I finally released a new album recently, which I'm pretty happy with (both the music and finishing it!): http://projectnoise.co.uk

The Bandcamp page is here, if anyone fancies a stream (or, if the mood strikes, buying a copy): http://projectnoiseuk.bandcamp.com/album/listen-to-me

There are also some other tracks on the 'singles', the most recent of which (Assist/Persist) is a freeb until the next one arrives early next month.
You can now stream the new eels album prior to its 5th Feb release.
Noooooooo...

Just found out to my horror that the beautiful female voice of the XX comes from what I can only describe as a 'Chunky Perkies'.

So... that'll stop you wanking over her? Wanking more?

I'm going with 'wanking more'.
I've got Nothing Else Matters, auto-tuned to a major scale for that now anyway.

Thanks.

You need the code, not the whole url.

Can't believe I didn't get that after a second look.

My brain is tired.
Playing a lot of old Warp stuff (again)

This is a beauty: De-orbit by Speedy J

The Egg - Autechre

Howard Goodall's current series on the history of music is worth watching if you want to get an understanding of both key events and the development of musical techniques. Helpfully, things like chord progressions are illustrated both with examples on a keyboard and through real pieces - they make more sense hearing these things than reading about them in a book.
WAIT! WHAT?

I'm listening to Rumours by Fleetwood Mac for the first time.
