Ok folks, nothing set in stone yet but thought it would be a good idea to start an official thread with the info / ideas we have.

Date is Friday 17 August (we normally go on Friday and return on Sunday but if you just want to do Sat that's fine)

Venue: Lanefoot Farm Camp site

Tel: 01768 778097

These things normally involve drinking, LOLing, eating in Pubs/off BBQuicks, Wasps and a spot of walking / photography. Let us know if you're interested.

Oh yeah seasoned veteran and 'friend of ours' Baz will be there along with Mark and I. I'm pretty sure Pupil will be in attendance too.

I'm quite disappointed. I'll be away with friends and stuff. We've already rearranged it once already due to mrsA being elsewhere, so I can't really not go. Soz. Maybe next time (again).

Glancing at my diary, that I assume is correct at this juncture, I'm only free on the weekends of 28th July, 4th August, 11th August and 25th August. But, I wouldn't plan around me.

I guess we should probably try and book something then, we can always try and change it later. Should I see if one of the yurts is free?

That's absolutely fine.

All I can say is that's where we will be. It's up to everyone else to get booked in and make their way there. I'll PM my mobile number out to those who think they'll be able to make it nearer the time too.

Ok all ready for this. I have a new torch that I got from DealExtreme. It's incredibly bright and includes a variety of modes including rave/strobe/epileptic fit.

I'm excited now.

This could be the best camping trip ever.

Will we be getting a surprise Wullie though this year?

Is Satterthwaite trainable? I'm not walking 80-odd miles.

I'm not even walking 80 normal miles.

I’m almost certain people would be willing to pick you or anybody else up from the nearest train station you can get to. I certainly would be, as soon as I can commit to this.

There's no Endorse It festival this year due to the Olympricks, plus I'm on the rota for being on call w/c 20th August. That makes this eminently possible.

So yeah, maybe.

Just managed to finally get through to Grizedale campsite and they only take families during the school holidays. I'll try the usual place instead and just hope that he's forgotten about Zardoz.

First post updated with phone number so if you're coming along give them a ring. Can take a while to get through as the owner is a farmer so he's not always about in the office.
