So, I was thinking, what brands does everyone have lots of?

I have:

Samsung: 2 nettops, 1 laptop, 1 printer and a fridge freezer.
Hannspree: 2 TVs, 4 monitors
Nokia: 2 Dead phones, 4 live phones (me, pauline, 2 kids), 2 work phones (1 not in use) and some headphones
Sony: PSone, 2 stereos, 1 cam corder, 1 vhs recorder.
Hotpoint/indicet/cannon: (I understand these are all the same company, if not the same brand): dishwasher, cooker, extractor hood, washing machine, tumble drier

Apart from the samsung laptop (which I partly bought because of the nettops) I didn't buy stuff because of brand loyalty, but either because they were the best thing for my requirements, or the cheapest I could find.

What do you lot have?

Malc

I don't tend to have much brand loyalty - I've got a whole mixture of stuff around the house. Although if you count gaming gear, I've got a shedload of Sega and Nintendo stuff around here. That's perhaps not so much loyalty but nostalgia though.

Only brand I have more than one thing of would be Apple and Beko ('white goods'). And PSA group cars, I have several.

Fair bit of Apple and Nikon stuff the rest is a mixed bag of everything down to quality/cost.

Apple stuff and a fair few items of Panasonic. Mainly due to after being robbed and shopping for a new TV, the Panasonic was the one I wanted, and I splurged the rest of the insurance money on phones and a camera while I was in the shop.

The only electronics I've got more than one of are a Samsung TV and Fridge. Oh, and Canon cameras. I buy whatever's best suited, frankly.

Is Star Wars a brand? If so, probably that. If not, it'll be the fourteen pairs of Nike footwear that I own.

Everything else is singular items.

Looking round my lounge:
Samsung Monitor
Microsoft keyboard
Logitech mouse
Unbranded computer.
B&W speakers
Samsung Tv.
Panasonic PVR
Denon Amp.
Denon CD
Sony PS3
Microsoft XBox 360
Nintendo Wii (Although that's only just appeared due to inpending actual game for it. It had been in storage)
Samson powerstrip
Netgear hub & router
Acer laptop
Samsung moblie phone
HP Printer

So I think Samsung wins overall, but that tends to be because they're the cheapest not shit brand.

Sony: PS1, PS2, PS3, Minidisc separate deck, DVD player, Minidisc portable.
Nintendo: Gameboy, GBA, SNES, N64, Gamecube.
Think they're the main ones.

I have two pairs of ADIDAS trainers. Two LG tellyboxes. Two iPhones (mine and the wife's). Other than that I guess we'll have a few clothing type matches, but not much in the way of brand loyalty for recreational goods.

Oh yeah; how could I forget?

I think I have seven pairs of Onitsuka Tiger shoes/trainers, plus a t-shirt.

The only brands where I have more than one of and in use would be:

Samsung TV, DVD player and netbook.
Nintendo Wii, DS, DS Lite (Girlfriend's) and a 3DS. (And there is a GBA, a GBA SP and a GBA Micro knocking about somewhere as well.)
Two pairs of Dr. Martens boots.

Although I did have a Humax Freeview recorder and the fact that it got updated regularly led me to buy a Humax Freesat HD box when we moved and couldn't get Freeview. This turned out to be a good idea as that also got updated and was among the first to get IPlayer. So I would be sticking with Humax for my set top box needs regardless of price.

I like Nintendo games so don't have much choice when it comes to gaming.

I think I'm falling out of love with the Dr. Martens so would probably look else where for my booting needs in future. Maybe.

Other than those, most things are brought on a price vs. feature basis.

A man came to the door once, doing a 'survey'. MrsA helpfully listed all the high value electrical items in the house, which he wrote down. She then told him when we were out of the house during the week, and the next few weekends we were away. I could have shot her. Now, she's not allowed to answer the door.

EDIT: Her defence was "He had a badge! Laminated!"

Only brand loyalty we have is for Mrs P, who last week got her ninth Fuji camera.

ZOMG. I really should have tried to sell MrsA some Moon land while I was talking to her.
