Blates. Mrs Squirt and I watched the whole lot over the course of about 18 months, and we were considering starting again as soon as we were done.

I'm considering this. However, Unless I really make a move on with BSG and the Wire I'll not get so far with it.

Just watched the first two episodes of Suits. Great stuff and has characters who remind me of certain people in this forum.

It's about a firm of lawyers and their star closer who takes a risk hiring an associate who has never actually been to law school but has an eidetic memory and has passed the bar many times (for other people).

I have just opened my Battlestar Galactica boxset I got for Christmas. It is gorgeous, I'm very impressed. Have finally convinced my girlfriend that we should start watching having finally caught up with Dexter so we're about to watch episode one. Excited!

Have fun. I'm slightly envious of you having the whole lot to go through in one run. Some of the inter season gaps felt like an eternity.

Man. I really should get around to watching the last season and a half of BSG at some point. I feel like my nerd bonafides are under threat. But it's just so bloody plodding and up its own arse and the ratio of characters I like to characters I wish would die in a fire is so massively out of whack I can't summon up any enthusiasm for it.

Falling Skies continues to plod along. Slowly. One can't help but feel if they'd cut out loads of stuff, it'd fit together somewhat better.

We got a bit carried away and watched the first six episodes last night. Really enjoying it so far. I have a pretty high threshold for rubbish I think, but I thought it was good. Does it not get rubbish 'til later on? From what I've read online, it seems to be series four that slated although some people were saying that the first half of series four was alright. Is that accurate?

We stopped watching midway through Season Two. I was still enjoying it, but the wife was not.

No. Season 3 is weak (due to studio interference), the rest is aces.

Mostly correct. However, Season 3 does have some awesome, like that awesome thing with the Galactica doing the awesome thing with its jump drives in that awesome episode.

The captain of the Pegasus was one of the more annoying characters in the history of TV though.

If you still don't watch Curb your Enthusiasm, please do, into Season 8 as it's still ridiculously good. Also watch Louie as it's Seinfeld but more funny and modern.

I've just finished season 7 and it's as funny as ever, although some of the 'Seinfeld' stuff might be lost on those who haven't seen that season. My only gripe is that in one or two episodes Larry was just being obnoxious rather than misunderstood, but that didn't really overshadow the series.

Final episode of Breaking Bad Season 3 for me on the train ride home in a few hours, very much looking forward to the train journey.

Been a weird season so far, the fly episode was definitely a low point for me, but the penultimate episode (that I have just watched) was amazing! :D

I watched that Ricky Gervais meets... thing with Larry David on YouTube recently. Mr David seems like a nice guy "in real life".

Shock Sesame Street news in the Telegraph today:

I've recently been listening to some of the Kevin Smith / Jason Mewes podcasts and a few of them touched on a strange canadian show that Mewes was on called "Todd and the book of pure evil"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_and_t ... _Pure_Evil

http://www.toddandthebookofpureevil.com/

30 minute shows - 1 season so far and i'm about 5 eps in - its silly but fun - imagine Buffy crossed with The Evil Dead

The basic premise is there is a book of pure evil (which looks surprisingly like the Necronomicon) that different people in a highschool find , and read a spell out of that then goes wrong , and a small group of students then 'fix' generally by aiding the death of the person who cast the spell (purely accidentally of course) the book is also being sought by a shadowy group of figures including the guidance teacher (Atticus Murphy) who want the book for themselves.

Typical eps include one where an overweight student finds the book , and wants to be thin , so that happens but all her fat becomes a monster that causes most of the rest of the school to become obese / a student who fails every test wants to be the smartest person in school - so everyone else becomes stoned all the time / Someone wishes for their favorite band to get back together again although since they were dead they return as zombies

Probably worth seeking out one and see if its what you think - or simply read the character descriptions :

Finished season 3 of BSG last night. Trying to decide if we will watch Razor before season four. We are both totally addicted to this, I have really enjoyed it all so far. While I see that there are some characters who are annoying, I think they are always true to their character and act as they really would in those situations. I think its brilliantly written, with some really epic episodes and moments that really give you goosebumps.

Just watched the final True Blood of the season (spoilers below)

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Jessica as little red riding hood was amazing :-)

A very shocking last few minutes - Tara dead ? / Jesus dead / Marnie dead / the PR vampire dead "We are not puppy dogs" / Tommy dead (week before) / new head werewolf dead / the annoying werewolf girl dead by Sookies hand (or shotgun)

And Russell alive / escaped along with the anti-vampire-league head now being a vamp and going after Jason

Cant wait for next year !

*Vigorously shakes Kern's hand with delirious delight*

You bring me great joy, sir!

*Flicks eyes down cast list...*

Good lord, plenty of awesome. Never heard of Matt Rodgers, but good lord - he's a ringer for Rufus Ingalls! Glad to see Trace Adkins getting work, he was amusing in King of the Hill. Richard Speight Jnr! Damian Lewis! Giamatti!

Quite a few of them seem to have been chosen by some vast computer that matches ye olde faces to modern actors, but hey, I trust in them. Remember Marky Mark? And yet he brought the goodness in BoB.

This is now my big excitable thing. BE GOOD. Nay, BE AWESOME.

Terrible website though. WTF is going on there? Christ, I hope this isn't some feeble vanity project doomed to stupidity.

Was a great episode, I expect Bill or Eric to come to Tara's rescue but Debbie is a gonna. I don't understand the storyline of when the sheriff was fucked in the woods? Maybe something for next season? Love the way Bill & Eric killed the PR bitch :)

Great Episode.

Was a great episode, I expect Bill or Eric to come to Tara's rescue but Debbie is a gonna. I don't understand the storyline of when the sheriff was fucked in the woods? Maybe something for next season? Love the way Bill & Eric killed the PR bitch :)

I think Andy's fairy encounter was to set something up for next year (and if there are still fairies around then the vamps will be searching them out and we know that after Eric killed Sookie's fairy godmother he spent a lot of time in the sun so perhaps something for Russell to go after ?)

I have also seen that the actress who played Tara is going to be in next season so i guess a rescue is happening in some way or another :
