To be fair, I don't think outing oneself as a townie is really relevant, because it's what absolutely everyone will say, townie or not. Bad guys will always claim to be vanilla townies, as it's the only good role with more than one person. Vanilla townies will claim to be vanilla townies. Non-vanilla townies will claim to be vanilla townies to avoid exposing their role to the bad guys.

A townie claim is hardly a role reveal.

myoptika's protestations are starting to sound a bit too much like Comical's in the last game for my liking. If I'd stuck to my guns then we might have axed the Cult Leader quite early on. Sorry dude.

If I protest I sound guilty; if I keep quiet then I look guilty. I can't really win.

I am a Vanilla Townie.

The problem we've got is that you would say that no matter what.

The only time you'd not say that is if you were town role, and then you'd use that to try and get yourself protected, the writings on the wall.

I probably would if I had any guile about me, or had something to hide. I don't, though. Strangely enough, I'm not all that bothered if you string me up. Vanilla Townie is a boring role, anyway.

Message to the Guv: you have the power to save me. The mafia are obviously block-voting as they know I'm telling the truth. I don't know who they are, but I suspect LaceSensor. I believe Kalmar to be innocent also, so don't assume he's guilty once I've been confirmed as a (dead) Vanilla Townie.

You townies are rubbish at this game. :(

FWIW I believe you but you might consider un-voting *me*, just to be consistent like. I'm *kind* of still at risk of being chased down and killed for no reason here.

He's possibly thinking as an ex-townie at this point. I know I was about a page ago. These things tend to go quite suddenly once you're over that threshold.

How am I trying to vote against Kalmar? I've just unvoted him to put my money where my mouth is. You don't seem to be making any sense. I think you're mafia.

Like last game, im not Mafia.

Sorry I cant actually see pages 5 6 and 7 due to some kinda error.
My mistake. I think the reason I voted for you earlier is because it seems you have something to hide, and I wanted to get a vote in based on the minimal evidence as I have training at work today.

will check in later.

I guess its not prudent to unvote, as youll just think me more guilty, so ill leave be for now.

Yeah, I don't see why the mafia would try to whack you anyway, they'd just wait for you to get lynched again. You seem to be playing a near identical game to the cult leader in the last game, although I'm not sure if it's intentional...

Yeah, that thought had struck me, too. Even down to the "go on then, kill me, I don't care" line. That said, I'm about 75% convinced that Myoptika's on the level and is just rubbish at this game.

On the other other hand, I still see the wisdom of the "kill someone and take the 40% chance they're evil" approach, I just think we've got a whole day and a half to decide on who we should be lynching and shouldn't settle on the first person to open their big stupid mouth.

He wasn't even in trouble when he started moaning and pleading for protection. Now he's definitely in the danger zone and if we lynch him, you can be sure he's a townie and rubbish at the game. If we don't, he's the cult leader/serial killer/mafia and an absolute genius. Take your pick.

I made the mistake of trusting Comical in the last game (which would have been ok if he'd recruited me, well before I was executed on the second night anyway), and as Farmer Russ hasn't posted anything annoying recently I'm swaying towards lynching myoptika, just so he can have the satisfaction of telling us "he told us so", which seems to be what he's aiming for.

No, I'd rather stay in the game, but you get to a point where you just wish it was over one way or another. I don't like being just left hanging (arf).

Never mind trusting Comical - my mistake last time was trusting more or less everyone, then knowing they couldn't all be truthful and trying to boil it all into one of those "there are three people, one lies sometimes, one lies all the time..." type puzzles. At which point my head hurt and I went back to the beginning.

It's not talking too much that is the problem, it is saying things that are either foolish or misleading.

If you ARE a Vanilla Townie then you don't need protection by a doctor. Why on Earth would the Mafia want to kill you? The Mafia will be first and foremost looking to off the Cult Leader, Vigilante and Serial Killer, as they pose a far larger danger to the Mafia chances of winning. The SK will be trying to take out the Vigilante, Cult Leader and Mafioso. The Vigilante will be trying to remove the Cult Leader, SK and Mafioso.

If the Mafia KNOW you're not Mafia, they certainly wouldn't kill you unless they thought you were lying.

As such, your plea for life and protection was poor!

It's pretty much a fact that the more you open your mouth, the more likely it is that something stupid will fall out.

The counter to that, of course, is that the less you open your mouth, the more likely it is that you will look like you are trying to stop something stupid falling out.

I just don't want to die, hence asking for protection. Seems a mite selfish, but I just thought the mafia would target me if the town didn't, because they wouldn't believe me.

Ho hum, I really am rubbish at this.

I'm not sure I even believe me anymore. It all does look rather flimsy. I am a Vanilla Townie, though. Just a rubbish one.

At the moment I have a few hunches. I d not think that I shall vote for Kalmar at the present as though I think he has a role it may well be a positive one rather than a mob/cult role, and I am not sure enough to put my chips down on him, yet. There are a couple of other people I have an eye on at the moment, but I shall not say anything yet as I don't want to prompt them to shut up.

On the upside I just sat outside a pub for an hour, in the sun, on 'important business'. I did not drink of the alcomahol, but it was nice all the same.

Hey, I believe you, for now! But then I believe everyone and last time only at the last suspected Dimrill was the cult leader, which he wasn't, thanks to my tracking skillz.

See, I'm not the only lame MafiaScum player here. I don't deserve to die just because I'm awful.

Does even 'completely lame' cover it? I think there are more words in the dictionary, and none complimentary. I thank you for being gentle with me.
