The sun goes down, and you all start to pop into existence.
It turns out that dream you all had might not have been a dream - half way through the day, you all heard someone bellow "Death is but a door, time is but a window... Cpt_Droman's win condition is Ghost."
GazChap doesn't pop into existence. GazChap was Vigo the Carpathian.

Night four ends at midday tomorrow (Tuesday).

[playerlist]
Bobbyaro
Cpt_Droman
Joans
Kalmar
KovacsC
Malc
Mimi
Mr Chris
Mr Dave
Mr Dom
Mr Russell
Myp
Runcle
zaphod79
[/playerlist]

With 14 players alive, 8 votes are required for a lynch, and 11 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Oh dear we lost Vigo.. and it looks like we will lose Capt as he is known as a ghost..

I know this is stating the obvious, but we need to hit another GB..

Er, sorry about friday. I thought the night ended at 4 and I was out spooking until 2.
Anyway, can anyone understand why Craster would have voted to lynch himself. Is that the first non-townie suicide we've had?
I was thinking that any late voters for Craster could well be ghostbusters trying to make themselves look less suspicious. The obvious candidate, given his after-the-fact vote, would point the finger at cpt_droman, but obviously that's not right, so that doesn't really help at all.

I agree , my first action this morning was going to be to point the finger at cpt_droman for a late vote after there already were enough to lynch Craster - I was thinking some kind of miscommunication on the busters side saying that the last vote could be used to show that they were really a ghost - so a good choice of notification for Gaz , and we havent lost Cpt_droman , we just know he's on our side.

One other thing from yesterday would be that there may have been at least one GB voting for Craster but i doubt both were
so that would make one of the following a GB :

joans, kalmar, kovacsc, malc, mr russell, runcle

As they didnt vote to off Craster - and in light of that its interesting to see that early 'I didnt realise what the time was' message from Joans

Oh and one other reason why we may still have Cpt_droman for a while is that Pecks win condition is ghost , so if for example Cpt_droman was Peck and the GB's offed him tonight they have killed a human and would lose their night action for the next day.

Yes, I am suss of Joans as well, due to his 'I'd really like it if we lost the game due to lynching our own and the GBs did nothing' post. Very dodgy.

[Vote:Joans]

I just thought it would be funny. Sorry.
Zaphod is right though, it's unlikely that both GBs voted for Craster (although they might just want us to think that), so one of the non-voters is quite likely to be a GB.

Stupid touchpad, I just hovered (like a ghost, get it) over the submit button and it decided to click on it.
Can anyone come up with a good reason for Craster killing himself? If he was a ghost I'd have understood it, but he was a few minutes away from the day ending, so it just seems a really strange tactic.

I didn't have a chance to vote, I was at a rare day of work on the friday and the day was finished by the time I got back. Although I hadn't really suspected Craster myself to be honest, good work.

I overheard while doing some low-level haunting that Ray was going to Malaysia and wouldn't be able to participate any further.

Good point, perhaps he should have thought of that when applying for the job.

Or that he thought he was a big enough target for slimer to target him and thus block all of the GB's for last night ?

Without checking back , I think Craster's was the final vote, with Droman's just coming in before anyone locked the thread (obviously, there were no mods around after Craster posted :p ).
Even if Droman's was the final vote, Craster still contributed to his own death.

I did say friday morning that I had to go to a clients meeting, and I did not get out till after 12.00, which was too late to vote, and the Craster pocessing seem to set of very quickly..

Craster killed himself as it was obvious he was a GB and Slimer would likely have RB him that night.

It wasn't obvious. Lucky guess by ghosties, well done, but he said nothing more suspicious than usual.
I reckon myps explanation is more likely - he needed out. And there was a good chance of him being lynched before the clock ran out so why not add a bit of theatre?

Bugger...
but on the other hand - we got a GB! yay!
My FoS is pointing at Mr Russell, who complained that 'the last people bandwagoned' when it was getting close to dawn & cras was the only suspect close enough to lynch, like he was trying to scare some people into backing off Cras...
[vote: Mr Russell]

He would have investigated a few but only one gets released if he is busted. Im guessing the info released is his last target.

He didn't. He could only tell us the identity of one of those he did, though.

Should that be 2 then, as he was bumped off on the 3rd day?

Oh, OK, I didn't remember reading that it.

So, I guess if he decided to let us know that Cpt_Droman is a ghost that he didn't discover any GBs, otherwise he'd probably have pointed us in their direction, surely?

As they said, he will have investigated each night.
He can choose who to release the identity of. So he apparently didn't identify any GB or SK types.

Correct , and i also think if he knew other ghosts he thought that telling us about Cpt_Droman would stop people being suspicious of his last minute vote.

Voting for Day 3 :

Myp -> Joans
Bobbyaro -> Craster#
Mr Russell -> Gazchap*
Zaphod79 -> Craster#
Mr Russell -> Unvote

----- 2.5 hours to go -----

Myp -> Craster#
Gazchap -> Craster#
Mr Dave -> Craster#
Mr Chris -> Craster#
Mr Dom -> Craster#
Mimi -> Craster#
Craster -> Craster#
Cpt_Droman -> Craster#

My only other comment from this is that I really dont see Bobbyaro as a GB as he voted first for Craster and stuck with it.

Oh and Gaz already said he was suspicious of Craster its possible he investigated him and already knew he was a GB but that wouldnt help us at all since he'd already gone.

Trust him to do what? He doesn't have an investigative role, so he might pick someone we really don't want deaded.

I agree that he won't pick someone he knows to be a ghost like a GB would, but there's still a very good chance he'll do so unknowingly.

all I mean is we can be sure he isn't a gb trying to start voting off to their advantage. Allthough how many are left? Maybe they'll be keeping their heads down now and relying on night actions.

I dont think GazChap did investigate Craster, he was still unsure if he was scummy yesterday. Although looking over day 3 I did think there might of been a hint in one of his first posts with a small typo that combined the words crass and to to make 'crassto', although I still imagine it was a typo and looked far too into that.

Anyway I've done some research.

This is stuff Craster said and did.

'So, that makes me suspicious of kalmar, Rev Owen, and Bobbyaro - as they have played many times before and know full well that Kovacs isn't showing real signs of being suspicious here.'

Day 1, page 5

Day 2, page 3. votes for kovacsC

'So! Who's suspicious so far?

Kovacs - for his day 1 fumblings
Kalmar - for trying to force a day 1 role reveal
Rev Owen - for leaping on Kovacs in his very first post today
Albino - for general foaming
Me - for reasons no-one has yet clarified.

Also a miscellany of quiet folks'

Day 2, page 5

Hmm, him voting for kovacs could well have been a diversion, I could believe they'de have risked sacrificing him to clear Craster :)

he was very vociferous about defending him prior to that too. Why risk that when he was a gb?

Although

[deadpool mode on] He does have other matters which are probably more important to him than this game right now [/deadpool mode]

As for who's left :

2 GB's
1 Slimer
1 Peck
2 Gatekeeper / Keymaster combo
8 Ghosts

At random chance of hitting
GB 14%
Slimer 7%
Peck 7%
Gatekeeper or keymaster 14%
Ghost 57%

Chance of us randomly lynching someone on our side is 71%

And its getting more and more likely that the Keymaster / Gatekeeper will meet up and release Mr Stay Puff (or have already done so)

While I'm not changing my vote for now, I'm going to FOS kalmar as his logic has been very odd in this game.

How so? again I've been half-arsed with this game for most of it but cant remember anything kalmar did that stood out.

SOrry I have been quiet this game, my family of little ghosts have been starting ghost school, and my ghost house has needed a bit of a tidyup, I haven't really been on my ghost pc for a few nights.

Well, we got Craster, so well done us. I think now Kovacs is looking suspect, so I am going to vote for him.

I agree that he won't pick someone he knows to be a ghost like a GB would, but there's still a very good chance he'll do so unknowingly.

I'm just not sure how him picking someone at random is better than going by voting patterns and information we've uncovered from lynching Craster.

Gaz told us Craster was a GB, that is why he is dead now:

If that's the case, then I think it would be crassto suggest that the Ghostbusters were dim enough to let the first night timeout, so they've obviously got a game plan.

He tried to get Kovacs to roleclaim on Night one.
He's now trying to get a confirmed ghost to pick someone to lynch, when they've not been a very active player in the game, and has little or no information to hand.

There was something else as well, but it's slipped my mind right now.
