It caused you to break into tiny pieces?

This might be a bit like bits 'n' bobs but I would like to know what brings people here at strange times. I am here because I was meant to have a second interview tomorrow but the company decided to go with someone who they met today without even seeing anyone else, hence I am getting drunk and hanging on the net because I don't have work.

I'm here because I can't be arsed doing what I'm supposed to be doing, which is tidying the house up and getting all my consoles and crap organised. Found 17 game boys so far though. :)

I have a chicken, stuffing and home-made chips in the oven. I'm bored waiting for them, and slightly annoyed I won't he having dinner 'til 10pm again. I'm fine though, it has to be said. There's a tray of doughnuts with my name on it. I should definitely be fat.

I loaned my GB Colour to a mate and never got it back. I was 3/4 of the way through Pokemon Red. I only leant him that breakout game that it came with and, stupidly, R-Type. So now I have 7 GB games and no GB Colour.

(Can I have one)

Well I've got four purple GBCs and two turquoise-y ones - if you want one, PM me your address and the colour you want and I'll pop one in the post :)

I still want one of those gameboy cameras/printers. They looked extremely useless.

They were. But at least you could print off blocky, monochrome images of yourself and stick them to things.

I am sure I saw one used on Bad Influence. You could even print off the results of the "photo". It looked like someone had bounced up and down while sitting on the keyboard using Word and then printed it.

I'd hoped to demonstrate the wondrous* power of the game boy/camer/printer combo but it seems the printer uses a different cable to pretty much anything else I can find, so you'll just have to imagine.

* may depend on your definition of wondrous

That's a Gameboy Advance. I'm sure the original Gameboy had a camera.

Yeah, the GBA plays GB/GBC carts happily so I used a GBA with a GB camera as it was the first console I could find with batteries in ;)

Yay, this was the sort of thing I was wondering about. What brings people in at the strange hours of the evening. Piiza eh?, I haven't eaten yet. I may get one myself.
Edit: Oh dear poor Craster.

When I was at uni, a mental girl was at Waterloo station and texted my mate to say she was scared and would he go and get her? Waterloo being a 20 minute walk to the station and then 45 minutes on the train. As well as a 15 quid ticket.

So he went to get the silly cow. Stupidly. I suspect this is one of the reasons he converted to gay a few years back.

Anyway, basically expect a text from Craster saying he's scared and will you go and get him.

Also, I've renamed Curiosity 'Andy Bear'. That probably won't be funny in the morning.

I am still awake because I am trying to get a bunch of mental people online to realise that they are mental without me actually saying anything to that effect.

So how are us mentals doing? There seems to be a few semi-sober people on here tonight. Good work I say.

I also have Curio's book. I specifically told him to remember that I had it in my bag.
It looks quite good. Cheers, Andy Bear!

Spookily, I only threw away a photo of Devilman printed out on one of those things a couple of weeks ago! :p

I know I should be asleep, but I'm not in the mood. For anything. Except maybe food. And wine. Hmmm.

I post at this time because it's a perfectly sensible 8:25pm over here, although I'm quite bored due to being stuck in a hotel room in St Catharines with nothing much to do. Ho hum. Never mind, I just opened a nice box of Caramel Silk Nanaimo Bars and am about to gorge myself to death with sickly-sweet caramelly, chocolatey goodness.
